I've been around Hive for more than a year but I was still a stranger until 2024 happened. During my first few months of activity on this blockchain, I struggled to find a place to fit in because I was making efforts to become a better writer I could not. Despite being endowed with many skills, I got stuck in a spot until; I lost interest.
During the December holiday, I met friends who told me how Hive has become a home to build their careers. I was shocked. Referring to my art and culinary skills, I was encouraged to dust and return. I made this post as a rededication statement, I made the resolve to embrace the blockchain again as an artist.
I've been an art student trying to trim my sketching and painting skills. I want to get better with digital art and returning to Hive has really made a difference for me. On discovering the holozing game and community, I started making a few fanart for the game. Engaging other user's submissions has made a big difference and challenged me to improve my skills.
I stumbled on this Splinterlands art contest post a month ago and I couldn't stop previewing the awesome art entries there. I knew just nothing about Splinterlands but needed to query until I knew that I could be a part of the community as an artist.
Being pushed to get wild with our creativity is something special and I love the PSlinterladns community for that. I am becoming a member and from creating these at piece, who knows whether I would become one of the top players of the game.
I am using this post to ell my friends out there on Facebook and Twitter that Splinterlands is a community on Hive that can mine your creativity in art to another level.
