Splinterlands intensity on the battlefield has risen since the second week of the current season started in the game.
It is a cool moment to present one of the fast game I had in the last 24 hours.
I got my guild brawl battles locked in when I decided to visit the modern League for a 10 minutes competition.
I found a serie of ruleset that played in my selection of water elemental.
Here is what happens...

Earthquake
Super Sneak
Mana value: 31
The earthquake is supposed to make the ground deal damage to all warrior in the arena.
One option to escape this damage from the earthquake is the selection of Fly equipped ability on warriors in the lineup.
I had not enough Flying warriors with low mana, so I decided to favor the offensive action.
A. Brave Force of Selection
The light summoner had the opportunity to bring water warriors in the arena. Pruitt can protect allies cards in the arena with one additional shield. The speed and repair on the key tanker in my line should offer enough defense against the enemy attacks and the damage from earthquake.

I had a feeling that the opposition will bring magic cards too. It will be dangerous to leave open my defense, so I placed a reflection of magic attack right after the paw in first position.
The second camp in the arena had a bloodline team of range melee and low representation of magic fighters.
It was almost a successful battle for my team. It will be hard to stop the wallet of fire coming from my positions.
Despite Mage large capability to withstand attacks from the enemy, Pruitt lineup did not fail.

B. Dragon & Earth
The opposition did well in terms of defense, but my team had double speed and triage to recover at least part of the damage from the last round. This situation was not resolved on the earth team. The stood strong after the first and second round.
Skarn the dragon summoner played his hand with confidence that his taker will hold until the opposition cards lose all health due to earthquake damage. However I was fast enough to recharge the health of my ally. Also, I placed in the lineup at the end Pallus a flying warrior to finish any remaining enemy in the arena during the last round.

I did not notice the potential of Mage from the earth team. The eleven point on her statistic equal the point of mana required to enter the arena.
The potential to play multiple cards in a limited mana game created the difference.
