Another week has passed and I still have the impression that Splinterlands is keeping up the positive news flow and that a lot of positive things are happening right now. Furthermore, I struck again on the OTC market and acquired five more land plots and immediately filled them with workers. So there is a lot to report and I hope you enjoy reading!
The next expansion in Frontier Mode
This week, entries in Frontier Mode were introduced. These are tickets that can be won in the Daily Rewards. These tickets allow all players to win great prizes at the end of the week.
This simple addition makes the Free 2 Play mode even more attractive and attracts even more new players.
There will be a total of 105 raffles, and over 7,000 cards will be distributed to players in this way. Personally, I don't think I have much chance of winning anything here. I don't play the mode often enough, and it's currently too popular with other players.
But I wish all players good luck and keep my fingers crossed that you'll get a great card in a draw.
The land expansion continues
My new hobby, Land, also continued apace this week. But before I get into the new features, I'd like to take a look back at the past two weeks.
After enthusiastically purchasing two land plots of each resource, I realized after two days that my two “large” grain plots were not enough to supply the seven other land plots. So I needed new grain, but no one in region 81 had grain land for sale.
So I set off for new regions and found Region 54, where @janoshik owns almost the entire region and has a lot to offer for sale. Without further ado, I purchased three more plots there, expanding my land holdings to 13. So, dear @janoshik, if you're looking for a quiet neighbor who brings hard-working workers with him, feel free to write to me anytime. I am very open to offers. I also promise good cooperation; except that my workers sometimes drink too much or listen to music too loudly, they have no weaknesses.
But that's not all, because sometimes you also need a bit of luck. A few days ago, the lovely @rivalzzz wrote to me and offered me his last five plots as an OTC deal. Since these are located in region 81, I naturally accepted the trade and now own a total of 18 plots. One of the plots is even magical, giving me a 100% boost in research and allowing me to progress much faster.
But, unsurprisingly, I now have just a little too little grain for all plots again. So I will either buy one or two more beta cards or put another plot to work.
My favorite tactic for the mid mana game
Finally, I would like to share one of my current favorite tactics with you. I use this mainly when you can only use between 25 and 35 mana. The aim is to use the strongest slow effect possible to ensure that all your cards can attack first. The second effect is, of course, that your opponent will miss significantly more than normal. Your chances of winning increase considerably with this tactic, even if your opponent plays cards that are higher level than yours.

Hallo liebe Splinterlands Freunde,
wieder ist eine Woche vergangen und ich habe weiter hin den Eindruck, dass Splinterlands den positiven News Flow hochhält und gerade extrem viel positives passiert. Des Weiteren habe ich wieder auf dem OTC Markt zugeschlagen und fünf weitere Land Plots erworben und direkt mit Workern besetzt. Es gibt also viel zu berichten und ich wünsche Euch viel Spaß beim Lesen!
Die nächste Erweiterung im Frontier Mode
Diese Wochen wurden die Entries im Frontier Modus eingeführt. Dabei handelt es sich um Lose, welche man bei den Daily Rewards gewinnen kann. Diese Lose führen ermöglichen es allen Spieler am Ende der Woche tolle Preise zu gewinnen.
Durch diese einfache Erweiterung wird der Free 2 Play Modus nochmal attraktiver und es werden noch mehr neue Spieler angezogen.
Insgesamt wird es 105 Verlosungen geben und über 7.000 Karten werden auf diesen Weg zu den Spielern kommen. Persönlich rechne ich mir keine großen Chancen aus hier etwas zu gewinnen. Dafür spiele ich den Modus zu selten, beziehungsweise ist der Modus aktuell bei anderen Spielern zu beliebt.
Aber ich wünsche allen Spielern viel Glück und drücke Euch die Daumen, dass Ihr bei einem Draw eine tolle Karte erhaltet.
Die Landerweiterung geht immer weiter
Auch bei meinem neuen Hobby Land ging es diese Woche wieder ordentlich weiter. Doch bevor ich auf die Neuerung eingehe möchte ich zuerst einmal den Blick auf die vergangenen zwei Wochen werfen.
Nachdem ich voller Tatendrang von jedem Rohstoff zwei Land Plots erworben hatte ist mir nach zwei Tagen aufgefallen, dass meine beiden "großen" Grain Plots nicht ausreichen um die sieben anderen Land Plots zu versorgen. Neues Grain musste also her aber in der Region 81 hatte niemand Grain Land zum Verkaufen.
Also machte ich mich auf in neue Regionen und fand die Region 54, wo @janoshik fast die gesamte Region besitzt und sehr viel zum Kauf anbietet. Kurzer Hand habe ich dort drei weitere Plots erworben und meine Ländereien damit auf 13 erweitert. Also lieber @janoshik wenn du auf der Suche nach einem ruhigen Nachbarn bist, der fleißige Worker mitbringt, dann kannst du mir jeder Zeit schreiben. Ich bin sehr offen für Angebote. Ich verspreche auch eine gute Zusammenarbeit, außer dass meine Worker manchmal zu viel trinken oder zu laut Musik hören haben sie keine Schwächen.
Doch damit nicht genug, denn man muss auch manchmal Glück haben. Vor wenigen Tagen schrieb mich der liebe @rivalzzz an und bot mir seine letzten fünf Plots als OTC Deal an. Da diese in der Region 81 liege habe ich den Handel natürlich angenommen und besitze seitdem ganze 18 Plots. Einer der Plots ist sogar magisch, wodurch ich beim Forschen einen 100 % Boost erhalte und deutlich schneller voran kommen werde.
Aber wie sollte es anders, sein habe ich nun wieder minimal zu wenig Grain für alle Plots. Also werde ich mir entweder noch die ein oder andere Beta Karte kaufen oder einen weiteren Plot an die Arbeit bringen.
Meine liebste Taktik für das Mid Mana Game
Als letztes möchte ich Euch noch eine meiner aktuell liebsten Taktiken teilen. Diese spiele ich vor allem wenn man nur zwischen 25 und 35 Mana verwenden kann. Dabei geht es darum den Gegner mit einem möglichst harten Slow Effekt dazu zubringen, dass zum einen all eure Karten als erstes Angreifen können. Der zweite Effekt ist natürlich, dass der Gegner deutlich mehr misses landet als normal. Eure Sieg Chancen steigen mit der Taktik erheblich auch wenn der Gegner Karten spielt, welche ein höheres Level als eure Karten besitzen.
