EDITION | PROMO |
RARITY | LEGENDARY |
ELEMENT | DRAGON |
LEVEL | 1 |
MANA COST | 7 POINTS |
ATTACK | MAGIC |
ABILITY | Resurrect |
The Oshuur Constantia is a powerful mage that costs 7 mana but comes with an interesting ability called resurrect which can bring back one dead monster with 1 hp. It is a legendary Dragon unit.
I had a level 1 unit which deals 2 magic damage and comes with 2 speeds and 6 health points. Can this unit justify its 7 mana cost? Let's find out in a battle. But first, let's focus on the lineup.

My Lineup
This is my lineup for the battle
Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Drake of Arnak | +1 armour |
Position 1 | Agor Longtail | Flying, Taunt, Void Armor |
Position 2 | Oshuur Constantia | Resurrect |
Position 3 | Uraeus | Sneak |
Position 4 | Kain Hace | Blast, Reflection shield |
Position 5 | Revealer | Stun |
Position 6 | Venari Bonesmith | Life Leech |

This was a whopping 46-mana battle with "holy protection" being the ruleset which gave all the monsters, the divine shield ability. I chose the Drake of Arnak as my summoner which gave all my monsters +1 armour.
In the first position, I used the Agor Longtail as my tank. It is one of the most powerful tanks in the game that deals with 2 magic and 3 melee attacks and also comes with a great amount of health and armour. It has some interesting abilities as well. Its flying and Void armour ability makes it a great defensive asset in our battles.
In the second position, I used the Oshuur Constantia. Another legendary unit with magic damage. It comes with an interesting ability to resurrect one monster with 1 hp. This is a powerful ability and can change the fate of the entire game.
Next came the Uraeus, the only melee attacker in my lineup. It came with sneak ability that attacks monsters from the end of the lineup rather than the front which helps me have a surprise element to my battles.
In the next position, I placed the Kain Hace, another powerful mage which deals 3 magic attacks and came with blast and reflection sheld abilities. But it has relatively weaker health. so, I had to cushion it with other units and placed it in the middle of my lineup.
In the fifth position, I used the Revelar, another magic attacker which came with a stun ability. This ability has the chance to stun its target making them unable to attack for that round. It comes in handy, especially in high mana-costing battles.
Last but not least was Venari Bonesmith another mage with decent health. It came with life leach ability which can become a difficult task to eliminate this card. By the end of the battle, it had more hp left than it started with all due to its life leach ability.
Let's talk about my strategy for this game.

My Strategy
I had a rather simple strategy of using the heavy, strong and beefy tank in the front of the lineup. While my focus was on doing heavy magic attacks.
The magic attack being superior to all other attack types, I had a good chance to inflict heavy damage by ignoring any shield/armour.
Also, the high mana cap helped me use much better units and I could choose my lineup with the utmost freedom.
Also, I focused on quickly eliminating the back of the enemy lineup with sneaky monsters like Silent Sha-vi and Uraeus. Both of them complemented each other and helped in eliminating the weaker monsters from the end of the lineup quickly.
I will share my battle here, which I have uploaded to YouTube.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
It worked very well. Agor Longtail held the fort for a long time while other mages supplemented it with attacks. Oshuur Constantia resurrected it once with all its shield which helped in soaking some heavy blows. This made all the difference in this battle.
Do you like the Oshuur Constantia? Why or why not?
Yes, I love the Oshuur Constantia, it significantly adds to the attacking potential of any lineup. Its resurrect ability is a game-changer in many situations. For me, it justifies its 7 mana cost and is a good addition to the dragon splinter deck.
