Hello, everybody. I hope you have a happy Friday!
It is my pleasure to show you a little bit of my art through this impressive platform. I want to thank @splinterlands for giving us all the opportunity to express ourselves in the best way possible, and especially for supporting me so much in my first participation in the contest, which I find impressive to see and be part of.
Here I share with you this illustration I recently made to participate for the second time in the Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 96 . This week it was honestly not hard for me to choose the card I was going to recreate because I loved it and I immediately knew that it was the one I wanted to draw; it is about Centauri Mage of the Earth element. I made some changes when I recreated the character I chose for this opportunity, but of course respecting the design of the original card.
I also have to say that all my illustrations are made with colored pencils, also with some markers for some details that I want to highlight and paints only for more complex backgrounds.
I really hope you like the final result of the card I chose, soon you will be able to see more of my art.

The Making Process
- As a first step to make my illustration it will always be, of course, to capture the whole silhouette with pencil of the character I have chosen to recreate, which in this case is this beautiful magic centaur; then, once I have a good base I can start applying the color.
- Now in the second image you can see how I start to color half of the body of the centaur in gray tones, with a little black to give shadow and white to give light in the parts where it is necessary. I also give some color to the character's hair and tail. I always apply the color in a very soft way at the beginning to create a kind of base that I will continue to work on later.

- In the third step you can see how I'm intensifying the colour more and more, something I've loved doing since I was a child when I started drawing. In my illustrations the color will always be intense so that I stand out a lot and be the protagonist. In the third image I advanced more in the green color of the character's hair and tail; I also worked on the upper body and the details of the clothing.

- To finish in the fourth image is much more remarkable the advance in my illustration because I focused on working on the whole background, which I decided to make it dark because personally I like it so much since it allows some details to stand out much more, like the light that reflects from his hands, hair, tail and a little bit also from the ground which makes the difference. You can also see that I colored the whole face of the centaur and I finished giving the last details.
