Time flies! Just completed the 42nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Staying In Bronze Fray
For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.
Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days. Miraculously, I did great this round and I was so proud of my teams!
- We Got 1st!!!
So for the final result, we got 1st out of 10 guilds and got 969 Merits and around 18 SPS! An awesome result, especially when we had more than the double the amount of wins compared to the team in 2nd.
Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I managed to win 4 of them. Finished 5th within the guild!

Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver
First up my Water lineup started the fights and I was immediately weakened massively by my opponent's Headwinds and Demoralise. With the opposing tank having Shield, nearly all my cards were dealing zero damage except my awesome Djinn Oshannus. Because of Void, Djinn Oshannus could still be used in Magic Reflect battles and that made the difference in this battle. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get rid of their opposing Living Lava. Interestingly, both Gladius cards were harmless this round. Unexpected win in this one.

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson
Wow what's that summoner on the opposing side? I thought I would lose this because of the self-healing tank on the opposite end. However, Katrelba Gobson's Double Strike sent everyone packing starting from the back and it was such a beautiful sight watching her sent 2 cards out per turn. Another unexpected but a massive win!

Battle 3 - WIN
Opponent fled! Free win!
Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick
This was a tricky battle. With Thorns in the battle modifiers, it was down to Ranged or Magic cards and I made the call to go anti-Magic with Thaddius Brood and a tank with Void. The decision paid off massively and my opponent with 2 Legendary cards was shut off totally. 50% luck, 50% strategy I would say.

Battle 5 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Alfredo
My chance for 100% win faded when I made a mistake in not fielding a strong Gladius card for the battle. I placed too much hopes on Sea Monster and my Ranged cards but Gladius cards ultimately can win any card with enough Bloodlust. A little regret there but I am sure I will do better next time.
