Another week in Splinterlands, we have the Social Media Challenge event, whose goal is to share valuable insights and experiences with the NFT game with the community. So, this week, I'll be sharing with the community an upgrade I made to my deck using the Rebellion reward cards and some Gladius Case packs. After accumulating a significant amount of Glint again, I opened 10 Ultimate Chests and 2 Epic Draws, receiving a pleasant surprise. Glint Shop - Thanalorian Blase & Kha'Zi Conjurer Gold
After accumulating a good amount of Glint, I decided to try my luck at hitting a Jackpot! in the Ultimate Chest. Unfortunately, it seems this strategy hasn't been successful, as nothing has come out to compensate for the glint expenditure. The result was a lot of potions, 4 energy, a few common cards (9x Chaos Evoker and 7x Drybone Hobgoblin) and rare cards (7x Razorhound), and a few merits (almost 6,000). It definitely wasn't worth the glint expenditure on the ultimate chests. Theoretically, 10x chests should bring a 1% jackpot chance, which is low, but overall it's been pretty poor compared to the other rewards.
Furthermore, one way to improve your deck more accurately is through Reward Cards, obtained through Glint Shop Draws. With that in mind, I used the rest of my Glint to achieve two Epic Draws, aiming to get at least one copy of each card, and luck was on my side this time. That's because the only Epic card missing to have at least 1 BCX of each was the Thanalorian Blade, and it was precisely this one that came in one of the Epic Draws.
The Thanalorian Blade is an Earth-elemental card, costing 6 mana, with a very good kit for its cost. It has the opportunity ability that targets the opponent with the lowest health, and has good stats: 2 melee attack, 1 shield, 5 HP, and 3 Speed. Normally, cards with this ability have lower HP or lower speed; this one is good in all stats, even having a bonus shield.
But it didn't stop there. I also managed to get a Gold Foil version of Kha'Zi Conjurer, which is selling for a high price on the marketplace. However, it's worth remembering that to unbind a soulbound card, you need to pay a DEC fee, which increases with rarity.
Gladius Case - Jini Guise
Besides collecting glint, I also ended up collecting a good amount of merits to open everything together and upgrade the deck in one go, optimizing the time. In total, I opened 12 Gladius cases, most of which were common and rare cards, with only one card standing out. The card was Jini Guise, an earth-elemental legendary, which was extra special because it was one of the cards I didn't already have in my collection. In Splinterlands, the more variety of cards you have, the more compositions you can build for each specific situation, since each match is unique due to the rules, mana pool, available elements, and different opponents.
The interesting thing about Jini Guise is that she's a mage card that has excellent compositions for the earth element, such as when paired with Summoner Obsidian, which grants +1 magic damage. She ends up working as a great card for magic DPS, reaching 2 magic damage with a buff, which increases even further with Bloodlust if she manages to eliminate an opponent in her attack. Finally, in addition to DPS, it also acts as a support card with the protects ability, which grants +2 shield to allies. Best of all, it does all this for only 4 mana.

Depois de juntar uma boa quantidade de Glint, resolvi tentar a sorte de conseguir um Jackpot! nos Ultimate Chest. Infelizmente, parece que essa estratégia não tem se mostrado vencedora, porque não veio nada que compensasse o gasto de glint. O resultado foram muitas poções, 4 energias, poucas cartas comuns (9x Chaos Evoker e 7x Drybone Hobgoblin) e raras (7x Razorhound) e alguns merits (quase 6000). Definitivamente não compensou o gasto de glint nos baús ultimate. Teoricamente, 10x baús deveriam trazer 1% de chance de Jackpot, que é baixo, mas no geral tem sido bem ruim com relação as demais recompensas.
Além disso, uma das formas de melhorar o seu deck com mais precisão é através das Reward Cards, obtidas nos Draws do Glint Shop. Pensando nisso, com o restante do meu Glint consegui duas Draws Épicas, com o objetivo de conseguir pelo menos uma cópia de cada carta, e a sorte esteve ao meu lado dessa vez. Isso porque, a única carta épica que falta para ter ao menos 1 bcx de cada cada era a Thanalorian Blade, e foi justamente ela que veio em uma das Epic Draws.
A Thanalorian Blade é uma carta do elemento Terra, com custo de 6 de mana, que tem um kit muito bom para seu custo. Ela possui a habilidade opportunity que vai no oponente com menor vida, e tem bons status, 2 de ataque melee, 1 de shield, 5 de HP e 3 de Speed. Normalmente cartas com essa habilidade possuem menos HP ou uma speed menor, essa é ok em todos os status, tendo até um shield de bônus.
Mas não parou por aí, além dela, acabei conseguindo uma versão Gold Foil do Kha’Zi Conjurer, que está sendo vendido por um alto preço no marketplace. Entretanto, vale lembrar que para desvincular uma carta soulbound é necessário pagar uma taxa em DEC, que aumenta conforme a raridade.
Gladius Case - Jini Guise
Além de ter juntado glint, também acabei juntando uma boa quantidade de merits para abrir tudo junto e fazer um upgrade no deck de uma única vez, otimizando o tempo. No total foram 12x Gladius cases abertos, sendo que a maioria foram cartas comuns e raras, com apenas uma carta que teve destaque. A carta foi a Jini Guise, uma lendária do elemento terra, que foi mais que especial, porque era uma das cartas que eu ainda não tinha na minha coleção. No splinterlands quanto mais variedade de cartas você tem, mais composições você pode montar para cada situação específica, já que cada partida é única por conta das regras, quantidade de mana, elementos disponíveis e oponente diferente.
O interessante da Jini Guise é que é uma carta mago que para o elemento terra tem ótimas composições, como utilizando junto da Summoner Obsidian, que garante +1 de dano mágico. Ele acaba funcionando como uma ótima carta para DPS mágico chegando à 2 de dano mágico com buff, que aumentar ainda mais com o bloodlust, caso consiga eliminar um oponente no seu ataque. Por fim, além de DPS funciona como uma carta suporte com a habilidade protects que garante +2 de shield aos aliados. O melhor de tudo, é que ela faz isso tudo custando apenas 4 de mana.
