What do you do when you find out about making money by playing video games?
The answer was pretty simple for me when I came across the blockchain game Splinterlands.
I invested about 25 HIVE into the Play to Earn trading card game; Splinterlands, to get the spellbook and a few cards.
Been seeing all of you posting about this blockchain based game and decided to do some research and get started in it myself.
Read something about doubling up cryptocurrency rewards by posting content about the social media challenge so here I am.
What are the types of earnings in this game?
I havent actually been able to make any DEC(Dark Energy Crystals) earnings from ranked battles yet but I am fairly certain my team will be able to pull me into some glorious rewards.
Although, I dont yet qualify for the next rank tier its nothing a couple more high quality rentals wont handle.
It also seems like I qualify for some free daily airdropped SPS(Splintershards governance token) rewards just for owning Splinterlands NFT trading cards so that is cool!
One good card can make a huge difference!
I have found the Epic Grund card to be super strong so far and I am really glad I picked him up even though he was the most expensive card I bought.
In this battle I was able to use Grund to get an edge on the Unicorn Mustang card which is a great frontline tank.
This build has been torturous to my enemies and I have been able to finally get a solid win streak going now.
I am trying to prepare for the new meta but I have probably been relying on the Ooze a bit too much.
Will update next week with a better team composition for the new Chaos Legion meta in Bronze 2 hopefully.
