Splinterlands Art Contest! Week #181
Hello dear hive community, splinterlands gamers and art lovers. This week I decided to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest! Week #181. Since I love art, play Splinterlands and also like to do image editing I thought I would take part this week. You all have already delivered great works as well as in the weeks before. I'm curious how my work is received so.
I was especially inspired by the Drake of Arnak and the Flying Squid. The two maps of Splinterlands gave me enough incentives for my artwork.
- Hallo liebe hive community, splinterlands gamers und Kunstliebhaber. Diese Woche habe ich mich entschlossen beim Splinterlands Art Contest! Week #181 mit zumachen. Da ich Kunst liebe, Splinterlands spiele und auch noch gerne Bildbearbeitung mache habe ich mir gedacht ich nehme diese Woche einmal teil. Ihr habt ja alle schon großartige Werke geliefert so auch in den Wochen davor. Bin ja mal gespannt wie mein Werk so ankommt.
Besonders inspiriert hat mich der Drake of Arnak und der Flying Squid. The zwei Karten von Splinterlands gaben mir genug Anreize für mein Kunstwerk.
Let me show you how it was created
- Lasst mich euch zeigen wie es entstanden ist
First I started to draw a fantasy figure with a pencil from my two inspired Splinterlands cards. Then I scanned my sheet and repainted it on the PC.
- Zuerst begann ich mit dem Bleistift mir eine Fantasiefigur aus meinen zwei inspirierten Splinterlands Karten zu zeichnen. Dann habe ich mein Blatt eingescannt und am PC nachgemalt.
Then he got some color and a little more shape.
- Anschließend bekam er etwas Farbe und ein wenig mehr Form.
I drew a few outlines with in and decided to make an S appear in the eye.
- Ich zeichnete ein paar Konturen mit rein und beschloss ein S im Auge erscheinen zu lassen.
Then the chain still got its painting.
- Dann bekam die Kette noch ihre Bemalung.
With a few colors I brought some structure into his body. He got another tooth and a tongue.
- Mit ein paar Farben habe ich etwas Struktur in seinen Körper gebracht. Er bekam noch einen Zahn und eine Zunge.
The eyes I wanted to highlight well and the body got even more structure
- Die Augen wollte ich gut hervorheben und der Körper bekam noch mehr Struktur
Next I took care of the background, which I improved a few times. I also changed the tongue into running blood, a few more drops and after some details it was finally finished. Thanks a lot
- Als nächstes kümmerte ich mich um den Hintergrund den ich noch ein paar mal verbesserte.
Auch die Zunge wandelte ich in laufendes Blut um, ein paar Tropfen noch und nach etlichen Details war es dann nun endlich fertig. Vielen Dank
