After you have decided to buy a spellbook to play the game. These are the things you will look forward to in Splinterlands. Do the Daily quest, Ranked Battle and End of Season.
Daily quest - requires you to win 5x to get a chest. It is not just to win the game, it requires something in order for you to complete the quest. It can be using a team of a specific splinter or you need to have a monster with a specific ability in your team. As you can see, It says earth quest so you need to use earth splinter to accomplish it. After you're done with the quest, it will also indicate the time when you will get a new quest . It refreshes daily so better don't forget to check it out. Take note that in bronze you will only get 1 chest. Quest potions that can be purchased on shop will give you another 5 more chests.
Ranked - is where you play with other players and when you win you will receive DEC as a reward. You gain more DEC when you are in a higher league. How will you know your rank? How will you rank up?
There are two things to consider when playing Ranked and these goes hand and hand. Your rating (MMR) and power. Without power you won't be able to move up to the next league even how good you are and how high your MMR will get. League has a power requisite for you to unlock the league, let say bronze 2 1000power, bronze 1 5000 power and so on.
- Rating (MMR) - Your current rank in the league.
- Power - Your cards composition that also determines your highest possible league.
- Current Rank - Self explanatory
- Next Rank - The rank you can possibly achieve based on your decks power.
Season ends - like everything else in this world there will always be an ending. However, it won't be that sad and lonely since all your hardship to get to your highest potential in ranked will pay off. You will get reward chests depending on your league tier. So it's time to celebrate! At the same time your rank will go down but your experience in the last season won't come to waste. The experience you got will polish your skills and be more ready to achieve what you haven't achieved last season.
