I see that the Conflict of Conclave Arcana has been announced." July 16 at 12 PM ET / 4 PM UTC!". As usual, it's not Japan time, so it doesn't ring a bell, but in Japan time, it starts at 01:00 AM on Thursday, July 17.
The first card is a dragon unit card. I don't like the coloring of this dragon. It's my personal opinion and some people may like it, but it wasn't my favorite! Too bad. It would have been better if it was matte black or something.
Now, this ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE, but looking at its performance, it looks quite strong. The mana cost is 10, and the attack power is Dual Attack with 2 points of magic attack and 5 points of melee attack. It also has 10 HP, so it seems to be durable.
However, it has Incendiary ability, so it burns by itself. I think it takes 2 points of damage every turn, so even if it has 10 HP, it's not a lot. 🥲 Then it's not as if it's useless.
First of all, if you look at the attack power, 7 points in one turn is exceptional in Modern. I thought there weren't any in Modern.

HELOISE THE HOLLOW is 8 points of damage. Well, don't quote promo cards that cost more than 10,000,000 DEC. 🤣
VENKA THE VILE would also be a 7 if it were level 4. I don't know that I would ever use it at level 4 because of Alcon's limitations. 🤣
Oh, THE VIGILATOR can do 8 points at level 2!
Double Strike is powerful!
So, of course, DRYBONE RAIDER can score 8 points as well.
However, these cards do not always produce 8 points, but only when Close Range or Melee Mayhem is selected by the rules.
Thus, units that can produce more than 7 points are very limited and only under certain rules.
By comparison, ZYRX does 7 points of damage from level 1, regardless of the rules. When you think about it, it's unbelievable! That's a hell of a lot of firepower. Moreover, at level 2, ZYRX learns Charge, so even if it is placed behind, it still does 7 points of damage.
Moreover, it has 10 HP. It is amazing that its attack power, speed, and HP do not change from level 1 to level 4. The only things that change are armor values and abilities.
Moreover, the mana cost of 10 is quite unbeatable. DRYBONE RAIDER, a unit with long-range and melee attacks, costs 12. The unit with 5 points of magic attack, BARASHKUKOR, costs 13.
By the way, BARASHKUKOR is quite strong. This card also has high attack power from level 1, and 5 points of magic attack can be shot just by buying one card.
At Intermediate level, 5 points of magic attack is quite powerful. Sometimes my SHADOWFEY SHEIK is dropped in one punch. 🥲
ZYRX combines attack power, durability, and speed, but it comes with a disadvantage as a matter of course. Yes, it is Incendiary.
Simply put, it is the ability to inflict Burnig status on oneself and then at the start of each turn, there is a 33% chance that the Burnig will spread around. Of course, units in the Burnig state take 2 damage each turn.
If you want to use it, it is better to combine it with a unit with high recovery ability such as ARACHNE WAVER. Or you can also use Cleans to eliminate it.
It might be a good idea to combine it with SANCTUS VICAR to eliminate Burnig. It is a problem that these two cards alone cost 16.
In total, it has very high attack power, high speed and even more Flying ability. The fact that it has high firepower from level 1 is also very good! However, since it is in Burnig state, it will take 2 damage every turn if left unattended.
If you can remember Charge, you can put it in the back and it will stay there for a long time.
Or, heal with ARACHNE WAVER or other units that have recovery ability, or use units with Cleans to eliminate Burnig status. I think we can devise various ways.
Now all we have to do is to win the conflict and get the card! It's a big hurdle, isn't it?

コンクラーベ アルカナ のコンフリクトが発表されましたね。”July 16 at 12 PM ET / 4 PM UTC!" から開始らしいです。いつものごとく日本時間じゃないのでピンとこないんですけど、日本時間で言うと 7/17(木) AM 01:00 からですね。
最初のカードはドラゴンのユニットカードです。このドラゴンですが、色遣いがどうも気に入らない。個人的な意見なので気に入る人もいるかもしれないけど、私の好みじゃなかった！残念。どうせなら艶消しの黒とかだったら良かったのに。
さて、この ZYRX THE EMBERGLACE ですが、性能を見るとなかなか強そうです。マナコストが10で攻撃力が魔法攻撃2点と近接攻撃5点のDual Attackです。さらにHPが10もあって耐久力もありそう？
しかし、アビリティに Incendiary があるので自分で燃えます。毎ターン2点ダメージを受けると思うとHPが10あっても決して多いとは言えませんね。🥲 じゃぁ使い物にならないのかというとそうでもなくて。
まず、攻撃力を見れば1ターンで7点というのはモダンでは別格です。7点以上のダメージを出せるユニットなんていたかな？モダンではいないんじゃないの？

VENKA THE VILE もレベル4になれば7点ですね。アルコンの制限もあるのでレベル4で使う事なんてないだろうけど。🤣
おお！ワイルドだと THE VIGILATOR がレベル2で8点出せるね！Double Strike は強力だ！
ということは、当然 DRYBONE RAIDER も同じように8点出せますね。
しかし、これらのカードは常に8点出せるわけではなく、ルールで Close Range や Melee Mayhem が選ばれたときだけですけど。
このように7点以上出せるユニットはごくごく限られている上、特定のルールの場合のみになります。
それに比べて ZYRX はルールを選ばずレベル1から7点ダメージです。そう思うと破格！とんでもない火力ですね。しかも、レベル2になれば Charge を覚えるため後ろに配置しても7点です。
しかもHPが10もあります。レベル1からレベル4まで攻撃力もスピードもHPも変わらないってすごいですよ。変わるのはアーマーの値とアビリティだけ。
しかもマナコストが10というのもかなり破格。 遠距離攻撃と近接攻撃のユニット、DRYBONE RAIDER だと12コストです。魔法攻撃5点のユニット、 BARASHKUKOR だと13コストもかかります。
ちなみに BARASHKUKOR はかなり強いです。このカードもレベル1から攻撃力が高く、1枚買うだけで魔法攻撃5点が撃ち込めます。
Intermediateレベルだと5点の魔法攻撃はかなり強力。時々私の SHADOWFEY SHEIK がワンパンで落とされています。🥲
攻撃力、耐久力、スピードを兼ね備えた ZYRX ですが、当たり前のようにデメリットが付いています。そう、Incendiaryです。
簡単に言えばBurnig状態を自分に与え、その後毎ターンの開始時に33%の確率で周りにBurnigを広げていく能力です。もちろん、Burnig状態のユニットは毎ターン2ダメージ受けます。
回復能力が無い場合、結構痛いので使うなら ARACHNE WAVER などの回復能力が高いユニットと組み合わせるといいですね。もしくはCleansで消しちゃうっていう方法もあります。
SANCTUS VICAR と組み合わせてBurnigを消しちゃうというのもいいかもしれないですね。この2枚だけで16コストもかかるの困りものですけど。
トータルで考えると、攻撃力と非常に高く、スピードが高くさらにFlying能力を持っている。レベル1から高火力なところも非常に良い！しかし、Burnig状態なので放置すれば毎ターン2ダメージ受けてしまう。
何も考えずに先頭に置くだけでも高火力で活躍してくれそうではありますが、出来る事ならレベル2まで上げたいところですね。Chargeを覚えていれば後ろに置いて長く場に残る事が出来そうです。
もしくは回復能力を持つ ARACHNE WAVER 等で回復したり、Cleans持ちのユニットでBurnig状態を消してしまう。いろいろ工夫できそうですね。
あとはコンフリクトで当選してカードを手に入れるだけだけど！ハードルがたかいんだよなー
