Card Review
Prons
With True Strike, it will never miss the target.
Deathblow ability deals double damage when there is only one opponent left.
Cons
Being a range monster, it does not have an ability to attack when on the first position.
Most of the times, Deathblow ability does not needed as there is just one opponent left and if you have the numbers, then you as well are guaranteed to win.
Dhamphir Stalker is a range monster of the Death element. It has the True Strike ability at level 1 that makes all of it's attacks to never miss its target even if the opponent has Blind, Dodge and Flying ability that increases ones ability to evade an attack. At level 5, it gains the Deathblow ability which doubles the damage when the opponent only ha one monster left on his team. This ability might be useless most of the times because when there is only one monster left on the opponnent line- up, chances are you are more likely to win the battle but when you are against an opponent with the Last Stand ability like when the opponent uses the summoner Scarred Llama Mage together with Kron the Undying, Cornealus and Gelatinous Cube, all of theirs stats will have an increase, making them more difficult to defeat and that is where this ability will prove to be useful. As this card cost 7 mana to use, it was usually played on mid to high mana cap battles and is always useable when playing with Odd Ones Out rule set.

Battle Phase
As there are only 3 elements available, I chose to play using Thaddius Brood for my Death summoner that gives -1 magic and health de- buff as I think that my opponent will use the Earth summoner Obsidian for a magic heavy team as it gives + 1 magic to all ally monsters. For my team, I choose Nightmare for the tank since it has the Blast which will damage not only the opponent's tank but also the monster next to it and it also has the Phase ability which will allow this card to evade magic attacks from the opponent. This was followed by Djinn Muriat and Phantom Soldier that are both magic monsters but one has the Magic Reflect ability to return magic damage from the attacker and Silence which will now cause the opponent to lose -2 magic. Supply Runner and Lira the Dark Both have the Swiftness which will increase the speed of all ally monsters by +2 which also makes Nightmare faster and more likely to evade any attacks. Finally, There is Dhampir Stalker as my main damage that will sure hit it's target because of the True Strike ability.
For My Opponent's team, I have guessed right when they use Obsidian for their summoner and as for thier tank, the opponent used Unicorn Mustang that has the Void and Magic Reflect which makes it difficult to inflict magic damage and at the same time, also able to inflict return damage on my team. Then it was follwed by Goblin Psychic and Mushroom Seer with both the Silence that also causes for the magic monsters on my team to lose -2 magic while also having the Tank Heal ability to heal their tank. Next is the use of Queen Mycelia that provides all the opponent monsters with +2 armor and add +1 damage on the magic reflect using its Amplify ability. It also has the Triage that will restore the health of the backline monster that received the most damage. The opponent also has Kron the Undying with the Heal to restore it's health and Last Stand so it gains a stat boost when it was the only monster left. Finally, the opponent have Mycelic Slipspawn with the Taunt ability that attracts all able attacks towards it.
On the first round, every monster was still on play. It was only Nightmare among my team has received damage while the the opponent has only Mycelic Slipspawn but only because some of the damage that was inflicted to them are healed.
For the second round, my team has managed to defeat Mycelic Slipspawn but this is also when we started to direct our attacks to Unicorn Mustang which received some damage but because it has the Void ability, none of my magic attacks has damaged it with our magic being nerfed and at the same time its dealing reflected damage on my magic monsters using the Magic Reflect ability, boosted by Amplify, damaging Phantom Soldier and reducing the armor of Djinn Muirat. Nightmare still remains strong despite having only 4 health left.
For the round 3, Nightmare has only 1 health but the team has manage to remove Unicorn Mustang from play though before that happened, it leaves Phantom Soldier with another 2 damage that is from Magic Reflect We also were able to deal damage on Goblin Psychic which is currently at the fist position.
Things happened so fast on round 4 that only Kron the Undying was left on the opponent side. Because of this, the -2 magic de- buff on Phantom Soldier and Djinn Muirat has been removed. Nightmare is still strong with only 1 health.
Round 5 is where the battle ends. Despite Kron the Undying using Last Stand, it remains to be weak because of the magic nerfed and my team remains faster that it was not able to have it's turn to attack. The final blow was inflicted by Dhampir Stalker, doing 8 damage to Kron the Undying as it's Deathblow ability was also triggered.
Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at 3speak or in Splinterlands.
Did your Strategy Work?
As Dhampir Stalker already was a powerful monster with a sure hit ability, all I need to do was have a supporting unit that will boost it on areas that it was lacking such as speed so that it can properly execute its attacks. Being able to trigger the Deathblow ability at the last round was just a bonus.
Do You Like Dhampir Stalker
I like Dhampir Stalker for the reason that it was a card that will surely hit the target no matter how fast they are and even if they have abilities that will boost evasion chance. As long as I have the mana needed and the rule set is right, it will be one of the core monster that I will use for mid and high mana battles.
What will you try differently next time?

One of the summoner that I still haven't tried since playing Splinterlands is the legendary Dragon summoner Archmage Arius that gives +1 damage to melee, range and magic which of course upon using, will increase the damage of Dhampir Stalker but if I can't use that, Selenia Sky which is another legendary summoner will also do the thing and with less mana to be used and I will be able to combine it with dragon monsters so it will definitely be a good combination.
