Where I live I cant even go to the cinema with 10$ so the potential of spending 10$ and getting rewards possibly worth hundreds of dollars is kinda like buying a lottery ticket, but my odds are much nicer.

You have a 33% chance of hitting a card each time you open a chest. The more chests the better.
Quest potions will increase your daily reward by 5 loot chests!
At current point it makes no sense to spend 750 DEC on something you can buy for credits. You can buy credits via paypal or with a lot of other crypto. I understand that for a lot of new users even buying the 10 dollar spellbook was a stretch. So if you have earned some precious DEC you can make more out of it! What if you only have DEC to spend? There is a workaround and I will show it to you now.
If you don't have anything else than DEC to spend do the following:

• Withdraw DEC to your hive engine wallet
  click on DEC balance and choose wallet hive engine, then click on transfer out. Sign the transaction with your keychain. Note, it will ask for the active keys since you are moving something of monetary value!
  
  
  
  
• exchange DEC for HIVE
  go to your favorite marketplace frontend I in this case use https://leodex.io/market/DEC
  log in with your username and sign with keychain!
  You now see the market UI:
  
  
  
  since we want to sell our DEC and immediately buy credits we concentrate on selling fast so we concentrate on the right side where it says SELL and select market instead of limit. TH UI will change to this:
  
  
  
  this means we sell 200 DEC for market price and get 2,94 HIVE for that. If we click on Sell the keychain will notify you to sign a transaction that allows to spend your DEC and exchange for the correct amount of HIVE.

Afterwards we have 2.94 swap hive and 0 DEC

I had a little swap.hive in my wallet so the numbers are not accurate

• withdraw from leodex to make swaphive to liquid hive

  a window pops up and you can enter the amount you want to withdraw! You can see there is a fee involved, but be sure leodex is the cheapest with 0.25%
  Click withdraw swap.hive and sign the transaction with your keychain!
  Your hive is now in your hive engine wallet! You can check it here: @solymi/transfers just put your username where you see mine and you can check it after the transaction!

  You can close this window and you already should see the Credits in your balance!
  Voila you turned DEC into liquid hive and back in credits but now you can buy that quest potion for a fraction of the price :) Go to the shop and choose potions click on quest potion and pay with your fresh credits!
  Share this with others, who are struggling to get credits :) Of course it is much better to have more DEC so if you can buy credits with anything else do that. I recommend LTC because it is fast and does not cost much fees. Other thing with ETH or BTC though transaction fees are too high to buy just one quest potion. Also you might want to take advantage of the promo where you buy a hundred charges for 75000 credits and get 15 for free!
