So again I’m a few days late getting this post out, but better late than never right?
Last week we saw the ranked battle changes and the new daily focus rewards go from 6 focus’s to 20 covering 6 splinters and 14 abilities.
You now have Wild & Modern ranked battles giving you the opportunity to play against all card packs or you are limited to a smaller amount, see bellow. This should make it easier as a new player or potential harder if you only have a set number of cards.
Now the next change see’s the introduction of more ability-based Daily Focus which is good for the game as it encourages you to own or rent more of a variety of cards from different splinters. But this is now what I find very annoying, the minimal rental period for cards has at the same time increased from 24 hrs to 48hrs.
So your now paying twice the amount of rental costs for a daily focus that only last 24hrs & after this time if you want to continue playing you either have to sick with the cards you have rented and hope that there usable in the next daily focus or you have to pay out to rent more cards for another 48hrs.
I find this very frustrating and to me it just seems to be another way to make money from you, previously I rented cards every 24hrs to suit the daily focus I would be battling but now I’m only doing this every 48hrs as I don’t have massive amounts of DEC spend. In away this has again slowed my progress in the game right down while the markets monopolises on the people who will rent new cards every 24hrs. Another rant over.

On the rewards from Daily Focus I have nothing significant to mention as the rewards have been very average just low level cards, potions & DEC which is just enough to cover my rental costs.
