Splinterlands announced that The Quest potions in the game had been originally priced in DEC tokens only. It's mean that we need to pay 750 DEC for 1 quest potion to receive more extra 5 loot chests.
The price of DEC tokens has increased a lot at the moment and for all users who has or hasn't experiences in playing always choose paying way by credit 0.75$ (appr. 110 DEC) in comparing amount 750 by DEC.
A fact noticed that, selling and rental price in market of all types of cards increase day by day from ending season last two weeks. We understand that paying by credit has serious implications for the overall game economy at the moment, but how a newbie can pay 750 DEC for starting the game to receive a worthy reward or items that are not commensurate with the spent amount of DEC, also saying that among the players there are also those who are very lucky in receiving valuable booty in comparing with the amount of DEC or CREDITS they spend, but everyone knows how much the probability is.

Many comments are against this change after hearing the official announcement from Splinterlands, we are confident in the future development of this nice game however I think this change could significantly reduce the number of new registered players, as they don't know how lucky they can be.
HERE ARE SOME COMMENTS FROM USERS:
"I have to say that as a newb the quest potions offered the only bit of excitement in the game. I'm not thrilled with this but maybe as I learn more about the game I'll learn more. I was about to pull the trigger on 100 quest potions but didn't feel the need yet because I could just pay $7.50 over and over. I felt like a recurring $7.50 cash investment into the game was reasonalbe. Now I have to rethink my strategies"
"We basically have to pay $5+ for a quest potion now. There are a lot of people making posts about their daily, trying to determine whether or not the $0.75 a day is worth it. Many are breaking even or slightly profiting on average. Now that it is $5+ a day, this is undoubtedly going to be a loss to those that actually still do it"
Block or limit multiple accounts, only on a couple of time Ive received more DEC than the potion is worth. worst time they were able to implement this.
if a game dosent think about its community it is dead.

Hope Splinterlands can reopen credits paying soon!
