My Splinterlands cards wishlist
Hello everyone today I'll write an article about some Splinterlands cards which I want to buy in the close future. Most of them aren't that expensive, so I guess it won't take too long before I'll be able to get my hands on them. As I'm depending on the earnings from my bloggings for my Splinterlands purchases (a self made rule), It will ofcourse depend on how actively I will be blogging. For those who aren't checking out all my articles, I recently made a wishlist for the Water element as well. I can even tell you guys, I bought the first card from my water wishlist today, Djinn Oshannus. But let's go to show you guys my wishlist of the earth element! :D
Scarred Llama mage
I will start with the most expensive card on my wishlist, aka Scarred Llama mage. He's a legendary summoner of the Untamed set. As you could already imagine, he's quite powerfull
Although you see him less now, he still is very strong. Especially in the lower mana games and in combination with Kron the undying. What makes the Scarred Llama mage so strong? If you would ask me, it's mainly his last stand, which powers up your last standing monster. Ofcourse the cleanse and the +2 health are very nice additions aswell! At the moment of writing, he costs about $70.
Mylor Crowling
Back in the time when I started playing Splinterlands, Chaos Legion wasn't even there yet and Untamed was already sold out, this card was a prefered option for a lot of players, expecially in bronze. Because of the effect this summoner gives to each monster. Each monster gets the thorns effect, so if you got hit with a melee attack, you deal 2 physical damage to the damage dealer. In a lot of rulesets, this is quite powerfull! As she is from the Untamed set as well, she won't be useable anymore soon in modern, when the new card set will be available. At the moment of writing, she costs about $3,50.
Kron the undying
I've already spoken about Kron the undying. Why is he so nice? He can heal himself, as he has quite some health, this is very nice. All of this while also doing 3 magic damage which is insane. As said, if you combine him with Scarred Llama mage, than he'll be hard to kill, especially if it are low mana matches (eg. 17-20). He costs about $23 on the moment of writing.
Unicorn Mustang
This is another Untamed edition monster which is really helpfull. Unicorn mustang is a decent way of counterplaying all magic monsters as it has the void ability which reduces the damage from magic attacks by 50%. As all previous mentioned cards, he's from the Untamed set as well. So will have to consider if I will buy them or not. At the moment of writing, he costs about $1,50.
Immortalis
Wanted to have atleast one Earth card which wouldn't be of the Untamed set, so here we go: Immortalis. He a legendary summoner of the Chaos Legion edition. He's quite good against heavily focused magic teams as he gives all monsters the void ability. At the moment of writing, he costs about $12.
Conclusion
As most of the cards belong to the Untamed set, they aren't really high on my list to buy. As I plan to play rather in Modern league as there are no bots (allowed). So for the moment, I will only put Immortalis on my list as he's a powerfull legendary summoner of the Chaos Legion and costs about $12 which isn't too bad for a legendary summoner if you ask me. The other cards are still usable in Modern until the Rebellion set is available. Until then, I'll just rent some of these cards as renting prices aren't high at all!
Thanks for reading my article, I hope you liked it!
How did I begin to play Splinterlands?
It all began in December 2021, I was a bit bored and was looking for a new game to play on my laptop. After googling a bit, I saw the term play2earn in my google results. I didn't know it at that time but it seemed awesome, earning money while playing games instead of spending money on those games. Soon I learned that play2earn means that you can indeed earn some money to play the games. How does it work? While playing those games, you can earn NFT's of those games. These NFT's can be traded and sold for cryptocurrencies which could be swapped for fiat if you would like to. That's how I started.
Do you want to try out Splinterlands aswell?
