I hope every one of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new card edition, Conclave Arcana, a new set of core cards, is released, and players are enjoying the new strategy, and new excitement is at its fullest in the sphere. As my participation Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, I am going to talk about getting more benefits from the game with the guild brawls. By playing guild brawls you can grab a handful amount of SPS rewards every 5 days, and also you can get a lot of merits that can be used to buy gladiator packs for the strong gladiator cards for your deck. I hope it will help you select or consider your strategy to play the modern format properly if you don't want to invest a lot for the modern format.
In my recent brawls, our guild placed at the top position and we have been rewarded with 96.642 SPS and 5571 merits. For my part, I had a total of 8 brawls and I have lost two of them I have lost with 6 wins. Though among these 6 wins, two of the opposite teams have not submitted their teams.
You can see that as our guild, we have only one more win than the guild in position two, which means that it was a very competitive brawl for us. Most of the time we can't place at the top position. Our average position round between 3rd to 5th, and often at the top positions like this one. But on average, we have a good amount of reward in terms of SPS and merits after every brawl. So, it is like a reward machine event for all of us.
Besides the Guild Brawls, you can also buy merits from the glint shop with the glint token, which is a supplementary rewards after each win in the Splinterlands battles in all format. I also buy merits from here as it is an easy way to grab more of the merits to buy more Gladius packs for more gladiators. But after buying every 2000 merits the price of the merits is increased by 1.5 times than the last 2000 merits price. So, after a certain level of price, the merits become overprice which is not a good option to buy them rather than the reward cards becomes more efficient to buy.
I bought Blood Stones before opening packs, which increases the possibility of grabbing legendary card from the gladius packs. This time I bought 11 Blood stones and 5 card packs with around 10.5 K merits of which I got the most of them from the guild brawl, and rest of them from the glint shop.
This time, I was so lucky to have a legendary pull! As you must know the difficulty to obtain from these gladiators which are very strong cards. And still I have not level up these useful cards in my decks. On an average I have up to silver league level for most of the common and rare cards. And only the single or two BCX from the legendary rarity for these gladiators.
So, it is very important to grab more rewards from the all the possible options that Splinterlands offers and one of the significant reward is the merits that can be obtained in the guild brawls and from the glint shop which can be very beneficial for a players. Here, I have discussed about my recent rewards and pulling my juicy legendary gladiator in my deck.
The legendary card that I have pulled is the XULAX NIGHTWIND which is from the death team and it is a great melee attackers with some great abilities from the level one. It will also attain some other fantastic abilities at higher level such as the THORNS and VOID that make this monster a great one. Also, it is the first copy of card for my deck and with this one, I have almost all the legendary gladiators in my collection. No my new milestones are set to level them up to the level two, and it will take a longer time as my rewards are not so much at the current gameplay which I will improve in the coming days.
