Who is Thorlock?

You may also know me from Splinterlands discord or my own discord. I started playing Splinterlands right before the launch of Chaos Legion and haven't looked back. I have 7M+ SPS and 120+ LICENSES (mostly personal but this includes some projects) and equivalent amounts of cards.
I also genuinely care about the community and seeing the game succeed.

I've helped countless players being a middle man in trades, delegating cards, delegating sps, onboarding, helping with all sorts of troubleshooting, etc. I've never been a part of a game that feels more like a family than here at Splinterlands. I don't just enjoy the game, but I enjoy being a part of the growth of the whole ecosystem, that also includes HIVE. I'm the type of person that likes to leave a place better than I found it.
Making a Positive Impact
- EZLICENSE
Around two years ago I partnered with @chansetheguy on the EZLICENSE project. I wanted a way for someone to be able to invest into a Splinterlands LICENSE without committing to buying an entire LICENSE. Earning from a node license shouldn't be just for whales and I wanted to help anyone be able to afford to contribute. The project has been running smoothly since and we just set up the validator software. We have not made a dime off the project and currently are using any extra HIVE to run the validator software and save to purchase another LICENSE. - DRIP
DRIP is a project I started around July of last year. DRIP is basically a tokenized GameFI fund. We raised significant funds to invest into GameFI projects with more than 50% currently invested in Splinterlands assets (SPS, LICENSE, CARDS, LAND). Just by holding 1+ DRIP, you receive SPS rewards daily! If you stake your DRIP, you receive more DRIP.

- A Pirate Saga
A Pirate Saga is an epic and immersive blockchain-based pirate adventure game that takes players on a swashbuckling journey through treacherous seas, hidden coves, and ancient maps in search of fame, fortune, and the ultimate pirate legacy. Players are transported back to the Golden Age of Piracy, a time of lawless seas, hidden treasures, and daring escapades. Players step into the boots of a daring pirate captain and embark on a high-stakes quest for the greatest treasure the Seven Seas have ever known.
The game can fully be played from DRIP discord in addition to 4 (and counting) other discord servers. We are still in beta and added our first set of cards that can be seen at https://thepiratesaga.com/.
The game token is LOOT that can be earned from playing and is tradeable on hive-engine. I have plans down the road to incorporate a way to burn DEC in order to support Splinterlands.
- YOLO
Yolo as seen from image at the top is the latest project I started on Hive-Engine. It's a tokenized meme coin fund. More info can be found on my discord.
Looking Ahead
Splinterlands has a lot of great things going on (NPE, marketing, land updates, new mechanics, validators, etc) and I am excited to be a part of it. I'm here for the long-term.
