Yesterday's article was so well received, I thought we'd continue our thriftiness today with a look at two similar cards with very different prices.
Lord Arianthus, more affectionately known as Lord A, is a BEAST of a neutral tank from the old (soon to be oldest) set of reward cards. It starts off at level 1 with reduced damage from melee, ranged AND magic attacks, and then progressively adds magic reflect and thorns. It's definitely going to take some work getting through all of that!
The biggest disadvantage to Lord A, is its price. Currently available in the market for roughly $180 per level 1 card, it's going to take quite a bit of cash for the 11 BCX needed to max this one out. Even if you were to go for it all in one shot with a level 4 card, it's going to set you back $1300 big ones.
Enter the Onyx Sentinel.
The Onyx Sentinel is the Untamed collection's answer to Lord A. This card starts off at level 1 with reduced damage from melee and ranged, and then progressively adds reduced damage from magic, thorns and return fire. We don't get the magic reflect that Lord A has, but return fire is helpful also.
The biggest advantage of Onyx Sentinel over Lord A is the price. Currently available in the market for roughly $6-7 per level 1 card, it's still going to take some cash to max this one out, but it's not going to require anywhere near the same investment needed for Lord A. Estimating on the high side with an average of $8 per card for 46 cards, you're only going to be out around $368 for this one.
Have you given the Onyx Sentinel a try in battle yet? Let me know how it went in the comments below!
