This method involves pumping an additional $0 into your account. Wait... that's nothing lol.
The only thing you need to complete this method is DEC. Credits are used for purchasing potions and packs in Splinterlands, and can be purchased directly with your native currency using PayPal. DEC can also be used to purchase these packs and potions, however, as the value of DEC continues to rise as well as it is a valuable asset in obtaining precious airdrop points, Credits are the more desirable option for spending.
As I stated before, this method is for people who do not want to put any more of their money towards the game or Credits, and are looking for an alternative method strictly using in-game rewards.
First, go to your DEC in-game and transfer a certain amount out to your wallet of choice; per the current market, about 150 DEC should be suffice for the minimum amount of Credits allowed. For those that would like to follow along with me, I am transferring to my HIVE Engine wallet.
Next, go to the market and list the DEC you just withdrew. If you're looking for an immediate transfer, match the highest bid on the market. You should now have some SWAP.HIVE. (My balance is 0 because I already had some SWAP.HIVE)
Now what we want to do is transfer this SWAP.HIVE into our HIVE wallet. I personally switch over to Leo DEX here due to its 0.25% fees, in comparison to HIVE Engine's 1%.
After we have our HIVE here in our HIVE wallet, we're pretty much done!
All that's left is to click on your credits, press 'crypto,' and select HIVE.
This time around, 1000 Credits costed 2.071 HIVE, so a little less than 150 DEC. Definitely beats purchasing a quest potion for 750 DEC!
And here it is!
As you can see, if you are looking to not spend any more cash on Credits in this game, this method is very effective and is actually currently better on your DEC wallet by a landslide! Players who are in the higher leagues can receive plenty enough DEC from ranked battles to fully fund their Credits wallet as well to stop wasting DEC. Huge win-win in the end!
