Greetings everyone, how is everybody doing this week? Work since last ramp up, continued to be hectic so have been spending more time in office. Nevertheless, I still made time to play daily. Today's post will include my account growth and also the most recent brawl report for PIZZA 2.

Back to accumulation of merits after opening 8 packs last week. Only have 6 now.

Delta to Silver 1: 21105
This time round the gain in CP is real good, especially from the 4 gold foil Ravenhood Warden. Like it a lot because I do use Ravenhood Warden. Start of season a little slow in daily chest due to many tough opponents, hope I can slowly climb back up to Silver 1 to improve the daily focus points. Hoping for more chest next week.
End of Season Rewards
The best out of the end of season is the 4 rare gold foils. SPS wise is rather decent with plenty of potions. Card count is rather decent as well. A very decent EOS.
Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Very different choice but one thing is, my opponent fielded more flying cards than me for this earthquake match up.
Outcome: Lost. That extra flying card my opponent fielded helped him secure the victory while my lineup all got killed by earthquake.

A match that only monster with melee attack can be fielded. So while I fielded an earth splinter team, being able to have access to Quora which has hybrid attack likely can give me the edge.
Outcome: Win! The hybrid attack that Quora has to qualify her for this match up proved really good.

Noxious fumes, so I added my Venari Marksrat as detonator to boost the stats of the nearby cards to survive longer.
Outcome: Win! Forgotten One together with my "detonator" help to secured the win.

Wow, 2 gladiators to face. I am not sure if I am able to handle 2 especially on odd number ruleset.
Outcome: Win. In general we are faster and Releanor did a good job to hold the front, we blast off the backline with my faster cards.

Similar lineup, I fielded additional Gladius Edith Emberstar for more damage.
Outcome: Win! We did well, speed was the key and we nailed it to gain the advantage and subsequently the win.

No legendary? No fear, earth splinter has many of epic which are real powerful. Let's see
Outcome: Won! Nice match, healess Quora led the way to the team's victory.
Guild Final Tally
I am assigned 7 matches this brawl, I won 6 (1 fled) and lost 1. Quite a number of good matches I had. The single loss also help me learn how to use Martyr cards as detonators for stat boost and also to really consider fielding flying cards in earthquake ruleset when possible.
We sustained our ranking at rank 2 for consecutive 3 brawls and we are closing in on the win counts. In this, we see that we are 3 wins away from the winning guild, I am sure we will reach it soon and regain the top spot. Go PIZZA 2!
Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Martyr cards are so fun. They make real good detonators especially during Noxious Fume or Earthquake ruleset, and we can plant them near to our heavy hitting cards to get the boost.
The example above is what I've gathered by continuous learning from playing the game and that is what I love about playing Splinterlands.
