Greetings everyone, we are into the month of December. While festive seasons are around the corner, mad rush happening at work place to ensure a good end of year. Today I will be bringing you my Splinterlands journey CP growth and also a brawl report on the recent brawl for PIZZA 2.

I have accumulated 5 Gladius pack through the reward chest and also brawl rewards. Planning to open when I hit 8 packs to increase the chances of getting cards that I want to get.

Interesting gains this time round 4 epic cards gained with 1 of them in EOS. Slow and steady. Indeed this time round I play in Modern format, but due to busier schedule this week daily chest is at about 3-4 per day. EOS I managed to get it up to Gold 3 but card wise the count is low.
EOS Rewards
A total value of $0.49. An epic card and a common card with ~10 SPS. Very tasty SPS seen in Gold chest. My first one set of gold chest, hopefully will get better next season.
Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Grand Master Rathe, this is bad. I am going to get shut down because of this.
Outcome: Lost. My lineup is totally no match for my opponent. Kudos to his collection to be able to come up with such a strong lineup.

I was guarding against melee squad but what I am facing is a magic squad. Not promising for me
Outcome: Lose. My lineup was totally shutdown by magic lineup of my opponent.

I am thinking that this could be a possible win for me with me having Gladius but my opponent don't.
Outcome: Lose. It went down to timing, my Releanor get zapped down by magic even before doing any good work.

Coming to this with already 3 losses, will this lineup that I picked grant me victory?
Outcome: Win! Queen Mycelia's protect was instrumental in this and help me secured the victory.
Guild Final Tally
I am assigned 4 matches this brawl but unfortunately I only managed to win 1 out of the 4 matches. Some were opportunity miss some were totally out muscled. Need to be back to drawing board to seek improvement to my gameplay.
We manage to come in 3rd. Things are getting competitive, let's keep up the tempo and get better next brawl. Go PIZZA 2!!
Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
While I didn't face many Riftwatchers cards during brawl this week, however that does not mean I can relax especially even at normal Chaos Legion, things are getting really competitive.
Also, while I did move to play in Modern, somehow I find that the opponent that I faced are really strong. Coupled with shorter play time, the number of chest per day is low. Hopefully, schedule gets better and I will be able to get more chest next season.
Call to Action
Splinterlands is a game that made me change my whole perspective of mobile gaming. The community and non-fixed gameplay is what attracts me and I believe will be something you wish to experience.
