Ab 5. August gibt es eine große Änderung beim Survival-Mode von Splinterlands. Der Survival-Mode ist neues Spielformat, das Anfang 2025 eingeführt worden ist.
Spieler können in diesem Modus alle Karten (außer Foundation) spielen und auch Bots verwenden und gegeneinander antreten.
Das Besondere ist, wenn man ein Survival-Match verliert, sind die Karten, mit denen man verloren hat, für eine bestimmte Zeit nicht mehr spielbar. Battle-Royale-Style.
Die Cooldown-Zeitspanne hängt von den Rarity und der Karten-Level ab, kann aber von 2 Tagen bis zu 2 Wochen reichen, was eine Ewigkeit sein kann. Gold-Karten halbieren die Cooldown-Phase.
Bis jetzt waren die gesperrten Karten in allen Modi nicht mehr spielbar, was viele abgeschreckt hat (mich inklusive) den Survival-Mode zu spielen, da wenn man verlieren würde, die Karten dann nicht mehr in den Brawls oder Ranked Battles spielen kann.
Das wird nun geändert. Ab 5. August 2025 werden die besiegten Karten nur noch im Survival-Mode gesperrt, nicht aber in den anderen Modi. Denke, das ist eine vernünftige Änderung.

Starting August 5th 2025, there will be a major change to Splinterlands' Survival Mode. Survival Mode is a new game format that was introduced in early 2025.
In this mode, players can play all cards (except Foundation) and also use bots to compete against each other.
The special feature is that if you lose a Survival match, the cards you lost with are no longer playable for a certain period of time. Battle Royale style.
The cooldown period depends on the rarity and card level, but can range from 2 days to up to 2 weeks, which can be an eternity. Gold cards halve the cooldown period.
Until now, the banned cards were no longer playable in any mode, which discouraged many (including me) from playing Survival mode, because if you lost, you couldn't play those cards in Brawls or Ranked Battles anymore.
That is now changing. Starting August 5th, 2025, defeated cards will only be banned in Survival Mode, but not in the other modes. I think that's a reasonable change.
