And for the Ruleset this time it is STANDARDS with 19 mana. In the STANDARDS ruleset there are no changes, both to the type of Monster used and the Ability. And in this battle, all elements are available to choose from.
My Line-Up
Cards | Ability | Reason |
---|---|---|
![]() | Give +1 Attack & +1 Health to All Allies | The card I wanted to try was a Fire Elemental Monster, so I used Tarsa as the summoner. |
![]() | Void (Lv1) | Opponents often use Earth Elements in previous battles, where most likely the monsters that will be used are mostly Magic-Attack Monsters (with Obsidian as the Summoner) That's why I used Tusk the Wide to minimize attacks from Magic-Attack Monsters. |
![]() | Reach (Lv1) | Help Tusk the Wide to quickly defeat the opposing Monster who is in first place. |
![]() | Opportunity (Lv1) | Since the amount of Mana used can only be up to 19, the possibility of using a Monster with high Health is very small. Therefore OPPORTUNITY plays a role in eliminating the Monster with the lowest Health. |
![]() | Sneak (Lv1) | Attacks the enemy monster that is in the rearmost position and prevents the attack of the monster that has the SNEAK ability. |
BATTLE START !!!
The enemy uses Obsidian as a summoner and only brings 2 Magic-Attack Monsters. Other monsters that the Enemy brings in battle only have 1 attack.
After all Abilities have been applied...
Obsidian's ability only affects 2 Magic-Attack Monsters, while other monsters don't get any extras.
On my side, all monsters get +1 Melee Attack and +1 Health from Tarsa's Ability. Tusk the Wide's Health is now 13 and the most of all the monsters in the Arena.
In Round 1, the Opponent loses 1 Monster (Mycelic Morphoid) due to an attack from Serpentine Spy. Then Hill Giant takes damage from Horny Toad and Tusk the Wide attacks. However, Uraeus's attack failed to hit Regal Peryton due to its Ability (FLY)
By my side, the only monster that takes damage is Tusk the Wide (which loses 4 Health). He gets attacks from 4 of the opponent's Monsters, of which 2 are Magic-Attack Monsters.
Void can reduce the impact of magic attacks.
In Round 2, Hill Giant was defeated by Serpentine Spy, while Failed Summoner was defeated by the attacks of Horny Toad and Tusk the Wide.
Tusk the Wide loses 3 of his Health due to attacks from the remaining 3 enemy monsters, while Uraeus again fails to land its attack on Regal Peryton.
In Round 3, the opponent's Monster is reduced again. Now it's the turn of Xenith Archer and Khmer Princess who must lose, respectively by Serpentine Spy and Horny Toad attacks.
The attacks of my other 2 Monsters (Uraeus and Tusk the Wide) failed to touch Regal Peryton.
I need 2 extra rounds just to beat Regal Peryton. If it wasn't for its Ability (FLY), the opponent would probably lose in Round 3.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)
My strategy went pretty smoothly, and it was all thanks to an opponent who used (again) Monsters from the Earth Elements to fight against me.
For my next strategy, maybe I should rent a monster that has the same ability as Regal Peryton (FLY). Or I can also rent a Monster with the TRUE STRIKE ability.
Monsters that fall into the criteria are Giant Roc and Charlok Minotaur.
TRUE STRIKE is an ability that can make an attack never miss even if the opponent has abilities such as FLY or DODGE.
Do you like Tusk the Wide?
Yes, apart from being a card that I got when opening the Chaos Legion Pack, he is a Fire Elemental Monster that has VOID when he was level 1 after Caladuum.
If I had to choose between Caladuum or Tusk the Wide, I'd prefer Tusk the Wide. Apart from the lower rental price (because of Rarity), Tusk the Wide can be used in limited Mana, also compatible with the current Fire element Summoner (Tarsa)
Actually I intended to rent it before I opened the Pack. But luck was on my side, and gave me the chance to possess the Monster.
That was the discussion about my battle using Tusk the Wide. Besides being suitable for dealing with Magic-Attack Monsters, Tusk the Wide also has INSPIRE (give +1 Melee Attack to All Allies) when at level 4. It will make the fire element team more powerful when they have to fight in Ruleset that only allows Melee-Attack Monster.
