This is a list of small suggestions that can improve a lot the user experience within the game.
- Why not use controlled bots in practice mode? Practice mode is almost useless the way it is. Do you want a good use of bots? Practice mode. You could be able to choose between wild and modern, bronze, silver, gold, or diamond leagues, or even some rulesets, splinters available, bot difficulty, etc. I am sure it would be a nice time to spend while waiting for energy recovery, where newbies could learn the game and new tactics without losing energy.
Why did you stop with new card skins? (card skin sets: cinematic style, realistic, cartoon, manga style) and why did you not make the game more customizable, with new boards, customizable player icons where you could put your photo, sounds (for instance, a "mortal-kombat like" voice saying: "Bloodlust" or "Trample", when one of these abilities triggers) Some of these cosmetics may be bought with dec or vouchers and others gained by playing the game. Every battle played (no matter win or loss) could grant the player some "splinterpoints" (not new crypto, please), which could be spent with these new cosmetics. It´s time to redesign the combat environment, that´s almost the same since 2018. The arena with non-squared shaped cards and all cards redesigned as the rebellion cards already showed in the preview.
Many pro-bots people are complaining about the possibility of a lack of games in modern due to the ban on bots. I don't believe in this possibility, however, when SPS replaces card power, depending on values, I guess this could happen. But I believe that a simple solution can be implemented: If a game takes more than 2 minutes to be found, the system would create a match with the rulesets, and the player would put the cards to play and this match would enter a queue. As soon as another player searches for a match, he/she would find an open match in the queue list and the game would be played. It´s more or less as it happens in a tournament or brawl.
These are only initial thoughts. I will be updating this post as soon as new ideas come to my mind.
The game must attract new players!
