Yesterday (on 2025.07.23), after I returned to Splinterlands again after a long (months) time of pause, I noticed that there is a new, single player game mode, called Campaign.
This is a single player interactive PvE (Player vs Environment) game mode.
Currently there are two books in it, and currently only the first book, the Waur Medge Academy is available to play. The second game is coming soon.
I finished the first book today.
There are 12.4 chapters in the first book.
In addition to learning the gameplay mechanics, there are rewards too (cards and Glints) for completing the chapters.
The animation in general is good.
The voice acting is not so good in the beginning of the campaign (in the first few parts), but it gets better after that.
And there could be more details both to the characters, to the places, to the story, and to the overall world too.
But of course this depends on everyone's individual taste.
And of course I do not expect an interactive "book" in its literal sense.
Obviously this is a game. But it could be much more immerse.
All in all, the first book is good, it gives entertainment at least for a few hours (depending on how you play the game).
I started playing Splinterlands on 2018.12.30, and I would gladly recommend to try this game mode too both for old and for new Splinterlands players too.
I am waiting for the second book.
If you also play Splinterlands, then good luck and have fun.
