It's been a while since I participated in this contest and I'm glad to have found this topic just when I was struggling to come up with a content, this topic is one I would always love to write about as it reminds me of how blessed I am that I could find what makes me happy even in a troubled world.
It's one thing to be happy, it's another to have what makes you happy for as long as you live. Happiness is free they say but many struggle to find this free gift and some never find it.
When I hear of cases where people commit suicide or go into depression, I fear that their happiness were taken from them and while I may not understand fully what they really go through, I'm hopeful that the happiness in my life will never let me understand that.
I have so many things that makes me happy and for this contest, I'll share five of them.

For all the things that makes me happy, I got a nickname that has stuck more than my own name and I like that it has a positive effect on me than the cases where names give bad effects or situations. I'm called Mhizsmiler also spelt as Miss smiler and that is because I always find a reason to give a smile. There are times when I feel bad, sad or angry but the times that I've been happy are more.
Life itself makes me happy...
I know this is kinda broad as a reason for me to be happy but I'll share why I choose this first. For someone who falls sick kinda often, becoming well again is one thing I never take for granted. I get this stomach aches too often that whenever I am free from it, I feel this great sense of gratitude that brings so much happiness to my heart for a long time.
Appreciating lives gives me happiness and that includes helping people in the best way I can. I don't feel good when I see people suffering but the happiness that comes when people are happy around is priceless.
Hive and all it's opportunities makes me happy...
If I don't count this as one of the main things that makes me happy, then my entry isn't complete. I wake up to this platform and sleep off after doing the much I can in this platform, my day revolves around it because I have find what resonates well with what I enjoy doing. I recently shared a post about what my day looks like as a Hiver, it shows how happy I am to be here.
Hive has brought awesome friends to me, connected me to ideas I wouldn't have thought about and taught me lessons I'd have never learned elsewhere. These things have brought happiness to my daily living.
My Family makes me happy...
My very first loved ones are my family, love brings happiness, I learnt that from loving my family so much. Even though there are times we have our quarrels, fights and misunderstandings, we still come out stronger and even happier. I feel they are the best happiness recipe life gave me and I appreciate their existence in my life.
Has happiness ever made you take a decision for others and not yourself? It has happened to me and that is the power of family. I keep working until I give them more reasons to be happy.
Money and food makes me happy...
I'm having this two combined because they go together in my book. For me to have good food or enjoy my cravings, I'll need to have the money to spend on it and so when I see money or get paid, I feel joy and when I get to eat what I want to eat or try out a new delicious meal, my happiness doubles hehe.
No, I'm not a foodie but I wish I am. I'm just one who tries her possible best to not starve unnecessarily. The times I get to eat in peace and eat what I love, I am happy. Thanks to Hive, I am earning money and with time, I'll earn more offline to cater for my cravings while helping others as well.
The little things makes me happy...
Writing out what I feel, laughing to jokes, listening to music, having bests and favourites, making videos, singing with my siblings, cooking and satisfying hunger, after clean up feeling, taking a cold bath when it's hot, going on fun outings with friends, having nothing to do after a stressful day, seeing a korean series, learning something new and many little things like that.
All that makes me happy and with all these, it's hard not to have more happy moments in my life. I would be always grateful for this and many more. This is my response to Writing Contest and you're invited to join in.
