Estaba examinando el celular y mirando las fotos, encontré la opción de editar y entre las posibilidades estaba la palabra “FILTRO” y comencé a jugar con ellos. El filtro consistía en cambiar el color y la tonalidad de la imagen, y lo disfruté bastante. Sin embargo, me puse a pensar, lo difícil que es ahora ver a las personas realmente como son, pues la mayoría de los teléfonos celulares tienen esta opción.

Y es que me cuentan que las opciones de belleza te permiten acentuar las pestañas, colocar brillo a los ojos, adelgazar el rostro, quitar manchas…. Y pare de contar.

Si bien es cierto que, la mayoría os ocultamos tras máscaras, y de hecho usamos varias dependiendo de la ocasión ¿Qué pasará ahora con esta posibilidad de dejar de ser tú mismo? Debo confesar que yo también tengo esa cosa que puedo llamar selfitis, ese exceso de tomarme fotos, pero si supieran cuanto me cuesta mirarme en un espejo, quiere decir que, el número de selfies no es proporcional en muchos casos, a mantener o gozar de una buena autoestima.

Incluso, me pasa que sólo me gustan las fotos que arroja mi celular, no las que me toman otras personas, y esto es un efecto cerebral, es algo científicamente estudiado. Ahora bien ¿Qué pasará cuando una persona acostumbrada a los filtros ya no pueda hacerlo? Tal vez allí comenzara el camino a la aceptación y es que podríamos preguntarnos si realmente es necesario mostrarnos al mundo como no somos, y reflexionar sobre el daño que nosotros mismos nos estamos haciendo con el abuso de estas posibilidades.

Hace unas semanas veía a una amiga tomarse unas fotos, realmente no se en cuantos trozos se dobló, lo cierto es que parecía una modelo de revista, sin excesos de abdomen, con cintura y ni el acné de su rostro se veía ¿A quién queremos engañar? Parece que caminamos hacia un tiempo donde debo verme como modelo, donde el físico parece tener predominio y donde el verdadero amor, se está escapando.

Además, el primer paso tan importante será el de amarme, para poder amar … y volver al amor.
