Greetings to all! I hope you are very, very well. Today I'm back with a new publication and this time I bring you this illustration made in illustrator, with love and dedication as a gift for a friend's father.
¡Un saludo a todos! Espero estén muy pero que muy bien. Hoy estoy de vuelta con una nueva publicación y en esta oportunidad les traigo esta ilustración hecha en illustrator, con mucho cariño y dedicación como regalo para un padre de una amiga.
For this drawing I used this photograph as a base. The idea was to portray her but with a style in which the illustration could be felt and perceived as a memory and I think I was able to achieve that result. I titled it "Father and son", after the Cat Stevens song of the same name
Para este dibujo use como base esta fotografía. La idea era retratarla pero con un estilo en que la ilustración pudiese sentirse y percibirse como un recuerdo y creo que pude lograr ese resultado. La titule "Father and son", por la canción de Cat Stevens del mismo nombre.
A continuación los dejo con el proceso de la misma.
First, I started by making a pencil drawing
Primero, empecé haciendo el dibujo a lápiz
Then, outline the drawing with a marker, to have a clearer view of the sketch in illustrator.
Luego, delinee el dibujo con marcador, para tener una vision mas clara a la hora de llevar el boceto en illustrator.
Then, I imported the sketch to illustrator and having it as a reference, I deconstructed and highlighted the most important elements of the illustration with small lines that followed the direction of the drawing.
Luego, importe el boceto a illustrator y teniendo como referencia a este, fui deconstruyendo y resaltando los elementos mas importantes de la ilustración con pequeñas líneas que seguían la dirección del dibujo.
Finalmente, fui poco a poco avanzando a través del boceto, quitando y poniendo mas líneas, así como puliéndolas y alineándolas para conseguir un resultado mucho mas limpio, obteniendo así esta linda ilustración.
Finally, I slowly worked my way through the sketch, removing and adding more lines, as well as polishing and aligning them to get a much cleaner result, thus obtaining this nice illustration.
