"Sunset is the only time I see the world in its purest form." — Anonymous
Mabuhay, lovely people of Hive! I am back again with another blog—it's me, your aspiring petite writer. Today, I'd like to share my latest snap from the golden hour.
Capturing sunsets has always been a passion of mine, especially since I grew up by the shore. Many of my childhood memories are rooted in Foster Village, a place close to the sea. As I reflect on those days, I’m reminded of the serene beauty and vibrant hues that painted my early years.
I enjoy photographing people in silhouette hues; look how these individuals are grouped. I saw different groups with various stories and memories. The golden hour, that magical time just before sunset, has always intrigued me. During these moments, the world appears to glow with supernatural light, casting long shades and bathing each and every thing in a warm, golden hue.
Even though it's evening, the magnificent hues still cast a warm glow, painting the sky with shades of orange, pink, and purple. The ultimate tranquility of the twilight hour invites reflection and wonder.
Growing up, I spent countless weekends watching the sun set below the horizon, its colors reflecting off the gentle waves. The memories is very lucid, I still remember how we looked our clock when it's 4:00-5:00 in the afternoon so that we can go at the shore and capturing every inch of this golden hour. Those sunsets were more than just breathtaking views; they were moments of peace and reflection that stayed with me.
Each photograph I take today is an ode to those childhood memories. The challenge is to recreate the warmth and tranquility that I remember so vividly. It is not only about the technical aspects of photography, but also about evoking the emotions and nostalgia that those sunsets used to elicit. As I press the shutter, I try to capture the feeling of those carefree days spent by the beach. Those early years where everything is at peace and no cruel reality that is needed to escape.
I hope by sharing these images, I can convey a sense of connection to my past while also providing a glimpse into the simple yet profound beauty of sunsets. It's a way to capture those fleeting moments and share them with others who may feel nostalgic or inspired by the golden hour's glow.
So, as you view my latest snap, I invite you to pause for a moment and reflect on your own cherished memories. Let the colors and light transport you back to a time or place that holds a special meaning in your heart. The golden hour, after all, is not just about capturing the perfect shot but about cherishing the moments that make life beautiful. This has been your petite aspiring writer @tellsbymoren, thank you for reading. Adios!
