I am too excited for the season! I can't believe those countdowns! The year has really flown by. My expectations are definitely not too high, but that's ok. In some recent years I felt a bit overly excited and maybe had too high of expectations. But entering 2025/26 I basically have no expectations for the most part. I just want the Titans to show progress, show potential. I suppose if I had to put a number on it, I hope they win at least six games in 2025/26.
I'm pretty pumped about Cam Ward and this new rookie class in general. This feels like Brian Callahan's first legit season as head coach after last year was essentially a disaster. From Callahan's perspective though he did hopefully gain experience and get a feel for what it's like to lead a team throughout a seventeen game season. Now Callahan has a whole new rookie class to work with and develop. It feels like a clean slate, with a year of raw experience to perhaps utilize.
In so many ways, this team is really just a mystery and I'm ok with that. Since the Vrabel era ended, it's really been a blur of bad football and a lot of changes. Hopefully the Titans are on their way to building some stability finally.
Crazy thing is on paper, the Titans unofficial depth chart is really not too bad looking whatsoever assuming that players develop and everyone gels decently.
I'm hoping to see some promise from rookies like WR Elic Ayomanor, WR Xavier Restrepo, TE Gunnar Helm and LB Oluwafemi Oladejo.
To be honest it's a bit odd to really even say much about this Titans team because they are indeed such a mystery. There's literally no history to reference or anything. Everything is so new. It's really unique. It feels like when they drafted Marcus Mariota a decade ago.
I am hoping to learn more about this team throughout training camp and throughout the preseason. This is going to be very interesting!
I played these Madden games 511 days ago! LOL. Madden 26 won't be on PS4 so who knows when I'll get to play another new Madden.
