Holaaaaaaaa friends de Hive y en especial de la comunidad de artistas de HiveArte. Me gustaría comenzar a participar por acá exponiendo algunos dibujos e ilustraciones que hago de manera experimental, mostrando el proceso de creación desde cero hasta el resultado final.
Les cuento que no solo disfruto mucho dibujar, sino además crear diseños y hacer arte digital, por lo tanto, normalmente los arts que realizo son una mezcla de técnicas tanto tradicionales como digitales.
Además me gusta crear obras con elementos aleatorios, que vayan surgiendo inesperadamente, sin una planificación concreta, y así obtener resultados alocados y fuera de lo normal. ¿Y cómo lo hago? Una de las cosas que hago es comenzar a dibujar sobre una hoja en blanco, mientras miro plataformas como X (twitter), youtube, facebook, instagram, etc, y de los distintos posts voy tomando los elementos y los voy integrando al dibujo o diseño que voy elaborando. Esto no solo da resultados super crazys que me encanta eso, sino que además representa un reto creativo integrar algo que parece no tener cabida en el arte que se desarrolla.
Este post será más o menos una demostración de este proceso aleatorio. Así que sin másssss, vamos al rollo!!!
MÚSICA de FONDO
Les comento que normalmente cuando estoy en estos procesos creativos me gusta hacerlo mientras pongo a sonar música, esto influye en mi creatividad, y en la obra que este desarrollando. Mi gusto musical es bastante amplio, empezando por el género rock, el cual escucho desde que era muy niño, y allí sumando subgéneros como el heavy metal, numetal, hardcore, hardrock, y otros que también disfruto muchísimo como el hip hop, rap, el EDM, la música electrónica, los samples, remixes, mashups, e incluso pop y R&B; es decir, una pizza con mucho de todo, jajajaja.
Hago este inciso porque me gustaría ir añadiendo música al proceso creativo que iré exponiendo por acá, así que, no les extrañe la inclusión de vídeos y tracks en el post, jeje.
Por ejemplo, justo ahora, antes de comenzar la obra, tengo puesto una rola en Youtube Music de Marilyn Manson: Sweet Dreams, su super popular cover de la canción original de Eurythmics. Así que ya por ahí, vamos a ir gestando una idea un poco dark para nuestro dibujo, jejejeje!!
Añado que las canciones que estaré escuchando en esta ocasión también surgirán de manera aleatoria, escogidas por el algoritmo durante la sesión. Recomiendo - si gustan - darles play para que se vayan dando una idea del ambiente inspirador del dibujo, jeje. Así queeee... vamos a rockear!!! yeahhhh!!!
IDEA, Materiales y Hoja en Blanco
Comenzamos así, con una idea de hacer algo un tanto oscuro o rockero o bizarrín con un toque de locura, se me ocurre crear un personaje que este de pie en medio de una calle o de un ambiente en particular.
Los materiales que utilizaremos para esto serán algunos marcadores, aunque inicialmente solo pienso hacer un borrador o line art en blanco y negro, para luego pasarlo a digital y allí darle color definitivo, pero como no estoy seguro, dependerá del ánimo y del time, así que igual, acá les muestro los markets que uso con frecuencia, no son de marcas reconocidas ni nada, pero cumplen su función, estas son Foska marcadores de punta fina, y Dual Art Marker que son marcadores de doble punta, por un lado punta extra fina y por el otro extremo punta estilo brush.
El lápiz es un ESCOLAR HB y la hoja blanca es una hoja de reciclaje, ya saben, hay que aprovechar todo.
INICIO
Ya con la idea, hacemos los primeros trazos de lo que será nuestro personaje, el cual colocaremos caminando en medio de la escena, y hacemos unos cuantos trazos, imaginando un posible escenario de una calle o ambiente medio extraño y... futurista quizás??
El borrador inicial o trazos los hicimos con el lápiz de grafito, pero los hemos resaltado con el market azul punta fina, para que pueda destacar mejor en la foto.
Como pueden ver, el personaje es estilo Big-head, será estilo caricaturesco, nada muy realista que digamos.
Y mientras suena Alone I break de la gran banda KoRn en su versión unplugged.

Comenzamos con el reto, porque había imaginado al personaje central como masculino, así que esta rubia no cuadraba mucho, jaja. Vamos a ver que inventamos:
Ya empezamos a improvisar, así que en lugar de solo una cabezota para el personaje, creamos un casco espacial? y allí en la escafandra o pantalla - quién sabe? - el rostro de una chica y arriba que sobresalga el cabello, jeje.

Totalmente discorde con la temática inicial medio futurista que imaginamos, pero vamos, esa es la idea, así que tomamos las figuras y las añadimos al look del personaje. comienza a tomar un aire como fantasioso y cyberg al mismo tiempo, jeje.

Esto nos da un super giro al concepto del ambiente que veníamos manejando, así que decidimos que ya el personaje no estará caminando al aire libre, sino en el interior de una casa o departamento. Entonces, bosquejamos una especie de pasillo de un departamento, ignorando y tapando el anterior fondo del horizonte con ciudades en la lejanía. Y los elementos de las pelotas ya no serían extraños planetas, sino eso, pelotas flotantes?? jaja, veamos como va:
Bueno, creo que ya quedó listo el borrador, vamos ahora a dibujarle encima con marcadores negro o oscuros para definir más el dibujo.
Me doy cuenta que los markets negros punta fina están casi gastados y sin tinta, así que utilizo este par de color púrpura:
Seguimos ahora con el proceso de remarcado y detalle
Foto o Scan
Llegó el momento de pasar de tradicional a digital, por lo tanto, le tomé una foto a la ilustración con mi teléfono y lo pasé a la PC. Anteriormente utilizaba un scanner físico que lamentablemente dejó de funcionar, así que recurrimos a la cámara del teléfono.
Ahora >> PHOTOSHOP
Una vez en la PC, ahora lo llevaré a Photoshop, para hacer el lineart más limpio. Una vez tengo la imagen en Photoshop le aplico desaturación y le acomodo los Niveles para que quede totalmente a blanco y negro.
Y mientras tanto sonando Linkin Park...
Ahora, comenzamos a aplicar color, pero no lo haremos con cuidado, al contrario, para darle otro stylacho, utilizaremos la herramienta blur en modo difuminado para pintar de manera descuidada y sin cuidar mucho los bordes.
Y así vamos rellenando todo, y pintamos el background en una capa aparte para rellenar mejor todo el conjunto, y en capas superpuestas colocamos algunos detalles como brillos y algo de sombra, todo sin mucho cuidado, muy rudimentario.
Ahora duplicamos y superponemos la misma capa de fondo pero le aplicamos un Color Burn para obtener un color más saturado.
Finalmente añadimos un poco de textura para darle más stylacho todavía, jajaja, y por supuesto, no menos importante, estampamos la firma de "mostrorobot 2025", yeahhhh, jejeje

ENGLISH VERSION
Hellooooooo friends of Hive and especially of the HiveArte artist community. I'd like to start participating here by exhibiting some drawings and illustrations I do experimentally, showing the creative process from scratch to the final result.
I'd like to tell you that I not only enjoy drawing, but also creating designs and making digital art, so the art I create is usually a mix of both traditional and digital techniques.
I also like to create works with random elements, which emerge unexpectedly, without specific planning, and thus obtain crazy and unusual results. And how do I do it? One of the things I do is start drawing on a blank sheet of paper while looking at platforms like X (Twitter), YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc., and from the different posts I take the elements and integrate them into the drawing or design I'm creating. Not only does this produce super-crazy results, which I love, but it also represents a creative challenge to integrate something that seems to have no place in the art I'm developing.
This post will more or less be a demonstration of this random process. So without further ado, let's get to it!!!
BACKGROUND MUSIC
I'll tell you that normally when I'm involved in these creative processes, I like to do it while playing music. This influences my creativity and the work I'm developing. My musical taste is quite broad, starting with rock, which I've been listening to since I was a kid, and then adding subgenres like heavy metal, numetal, hardcore, hard rock, and others that I also really enjoy, like hip hop, rap, EDM, electronic music, samples, remixes, mashups, and even pop and R&B; in other words, a pizza with a lot of everything, hahaha.
I'm making this aside because I'd like to add music to the creative process I'll be discussing here, so don't be surprised if I include videos and tracks in the post, hehe.
For example, right now, before starting the piece, I have a song on YouTube Music by Marilyn Manson: Sweet Dreams, his super-popular cover of the original Eurythmics song. So, we're going to start brainstorming a slightly dark idea for our drawing, hehe!!
I'd also like to add that the songs I'll be listening to this time will also be randomly chosen by the algorithm during the session. I recommend—if you like—playing them to give you an idea of the inspiring atmosphere of the drawing, hehe. Sooo... let's rock!!! yeahhhh!!!***
IDEA, Materials, and Blank Sheet
So, we started like this, with the idea of doing something a bit dark, rock, or bizarre with a touch of madness. I came up with the idea of creating a character standing in the middle of a street or in a particular environment.
The materials we'll use for this will be some markers. Initially, I only plan to do a rough draft or line art in black and white, then transfer it to digital and add the final color. Since I'm not sure, it will depend on my mood and time. So, anyway, here are the markers I frequently use. They're not from well-known brands or anything, but they do their job. These are Foska fine-tip markers and Dual Art Markers, which are dual-tip markers with an extra-fine tip on one end and a brush-style tip on the other.
The pencil is an HB school pencil, and the blank sheet is recycled paper. You know, you have to use everything.
START
Now that we have the idea, we make the first strokes of what our character will be, which we will place walking in the middle of the scene. We make a few strokes, imagining a possible street scene or a somewhat strange and... futuristic environment perhaps?
We made the initial draft or strokes with the graphite pencil, but we highlighted them with the blue fine-tipped Marker so that it stands out better in the photo.
As you can see, the character is in the Big-Head style; it will be cartoonish, nothing very realistic, let's say.

We've already started improvising, so instead of just a big head for the character, we created a space helmet? And there, on the spacesuit or screen—who knows?—a girl's face, with hair sticking out at the top, hehe.

Totally at odds with the initial futuristic theme we imagined, but hey, that's the idea, so we took the figures and added them to the character's look. It's starting to take on a fantasy-y, cyber-ghostly feel at the same time, hehe.

This gives us a great twist on the concept of the environment we've been working on, so we decided that the character will no longer be walking outdoors, but rather inside a house or apartment. So, we sketched out a sort of apartment hallway, ignoring and obscuring the previous horizon background with cities in the distance. And the ball elements wouldn't be strange planets anymore, but rather, floating balls? Haha, let's see how it goes:
Well, I think the rough draft is ready. Now let's draw over it with black or dark markers to further define the drawing. I notice that the black fine-point markers are almost worn out and out of ink, so I use this purple pair:
Now we continue with the re-marking process and detail
Photo or Scan
It was time to go from traditional to digital, so I took a photo of the illustration with my phone and transferred it to my computer. I previously used a physical scanner, which unfortunately stopped working, so we resorted to using the phone's camera.
Now >> PHOTOSHOP
Once on the PC, I'll take it to Photoshop to make the lineart cleaner. Once I have the image in Photoshop, I apply desaturation and adjust the Levels so it's completely black and white.
And meanwhile, Linkin Park is playing...
Now, we start applying color, but we won't do it carefully. On the contrary, to give it another stylistic effect, we'll use the blur tool in blur mode to paint carelessly and without paying much attention to the edges.
And so we fill everything in, and we paint the background on a separate layer to better fill the whole image. On overlapping layers, we add some details like highlights and some shading, all very rudimentary and careless.
Now we duplicate and overlay the same background layer, but apply a Color Burn to it to obtain a more saturated color.
Finally, we added a bit of texture to make it even more stylish, hahaha, and of course, not least, we stamped the signature of "mostrorobot 2025", yeahhhh, hehehe
