There's always more than one thing to celebrate & I can never decide on just one. So today I take a brief look at 'National Cappucino Day' & 'National S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. Day'.
National Cappucino Day
Traditionally prepared with espresso, hot milk, and steamed milk foam, a cappuccino is an Italian coffee drink. A hot cup of cappuccino is a perfect drink on a frosty morning, meeting with friends or just to enjoy a creamy cuppa.
The modern espresso machine which further popularized the cappuccino was invented in 1945 by Achille Gaggia.
National S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. Day
This day celebrates the advancements in science, technology, engineering, the arts, & mathematics in our educational systems.
In the early 2000's it was discovered the children was not learning on a global comparison meaning that the country would be underprivilege in dealing with others on an international level. "A 2006 study later showed that a comparatively large proportion of students underperformed in these subjects and that the country ranked near the bottom on assessments of scientific competency and knowledge". As a result the US began to work toward better education systems for our children & adults across the country.
