The Airdrop for the new PRECIOUS Token has begun today with the first Silver Gold Stackers member receiving their Airdropped PRECIOUS Tokens a short while ago. As of today, all Sponsors of Precious the Silver Mermaid who produce content on HIVE should receive an Airdrop of PRECIOUS Tokens when their post pays out and the corresponding Curation Rewards are generated on the community account.

The Airdrop will take the form of a HIVE Engine Transfer of PRECIOUS Tokens from the @monsterpit account and this transfer should occur automatically within a few seconds of the post payout. The transfer will include a memo which references the Post URL that generated the Curation Rewards. The quantity of PRECIOUS Token received should match the Curation Reward in HIVE that has been received on the @ssg-community account. The idea is that the better the Content Quality and the more Curation Rewards you generate for the community account, the more PRECIOUS Tokens you should receive.
If you want to follow the Airdrop yourself you can use the Explorer on HIVE Engine using THIS LINK to see all the PRECIOUS Token transfers from the @monsterpit account in Real Time. For now the code executing this Airdrop is running off my laptop at home, but if there are no issues in the next day or two and it proves stable then I’ll deploy it onto the VPS with the other processes already running on behalf of the SGS community.
The PRECIOUS Token is still available to buy on HIVE Engine if you want to support the project. I will be putting out another update about the Initial Token Sale in a couple of days, but I intend to cancel any remaining Unsold Tranches once I am comfortable that everyone has had a reasonable opportunity to accumulate what they want in support of the PRECIOUS Token Initiative. So if you do want to BUY rather than EARN some PRECIOUS Token then the opportunity to do that is now. If you want to just EARN your PRECIOUS Token then all you have to do is keep producing that quality content for the Silver Gold Stackers community and let the Airdrop take care of you!
