The last day of the year is always a good time for reflection. Looking back on 2023 it’s been a pretty good year for the Silver Gold Stackers Community on HIVE. With the rest of the world still going through all sorts of crazy and the Crypto Markets generally being very flat all year it’s great to see SGS as a bit of a constant. Maybe even a bit of a haven for people like me who appreciate a solid grounding with regular doses of Common Sense…
What were the Highlights of the Year? There are a few that stand out for me off the top of my head. March was a good month with the now Annual Las Vegas Meetup getting bigger and better each year with more funny stories and shenanigans. The Stacker of the Week promotion also kicked off in March and has been putting a few extra HIVEs in our members pockets ever since.
In July our Precious made her Debut on Discord where she now regularly interacts with members to help them with their post promotion. Also in July we launched the PRECIOUS Token and kicked off an Airdrop to reward our SGS Authors which is also still ongoing.
For September and October it was all about the return of the long lost Monster Raffle, which was enormously successful once again. Then December we had the much loved Secret Santa going on with some more awesome and personalized silver gifts being shipped around the world.
On a personal note I got back into posting regularly on HIVE in 2023 and have been a bit more active doing some development stuff too. I’ve really enjoyed the year here with SGS as it continues to be a great Community of Fellow Stackers to hang out with and shoot the breeze. Our Community is getting bigger, better and stronger every year and there are a lot of people to thank for that so thank you everyone for doing what you do. I appreciate you.
