I can't remember where I picked this one up, but I think it was from a dealer via mail order. It has some nicks, and some marks on it, but I still found it interesting enough to buy.
This coin was minted in 1892 especially for the World's Columbian Exposition. The Expo was in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was in celebration of the 400th anniversary of Columbus's arrival to the America's.
The marks around Columbus's eye make it look like someone dotted it for him in a fight.

The reverse is kind of cool design with what is supposed to be the ship Santa Maria above to two hemispheres that split the date 1492.
