Due to unforeseen circumstances I am compelled to change to an unplanned or mis-planned post this week. Lack of Time, lack of sleep, twists and turns of fate occurring more frequently than a Stephen king thriller.
So, from the mysterious Intaglio Mint, a small, four-person operation and business located in Denver, Colorado producing quality Precious metals products in small mintage, from the Cryptozoology series, may I present my ONLY round of this mint so far.

I’ve originally slated this round and the accompanying coin below as the opening Introduction to Tracy McMillian and the Air Pirates story arc but I realize there would be issues as the scene takes place as an amateur archeologist discovers an undocumented wreck 200 knots due north east of the Bahamas. What he found in this obscure wreck answered some questions to his findings that should have made economic and maritime history.
The Archeologist follows an obscure series of accounts that many historians shrug off as unreliable but coincide with official denials by a private steam shipping company going far back as 1890. The Shipping manifests and waybills finally released compared to the governmental Import records indicate something rather peculiar.
The Bonus Silver coin
The bankrupt Insurance company that underwrote the lost or missing items would only have the true description on what was paid out. Items are best described as ‘Priceless’ Silver artifacts of high intrinsic value.
Recovered Ship’s logs document unexpected fog banks and magnetic disturbances making navigation impossible. But also an encounter of a beast described like a ‘Kraken’ as written in Norse folklore, others describe an enormous floating cigar shaped object, and other crews describe nothing at all but waking up with the ship stopped, the ship’s safe opened with the secret contents missing.
So, we have a Kraken, which are supposed be creatures of the North Atlantic, that is lurking much further south, cigar shaped floating objects, all mysterious happenings over a patch of ocean off the Bermuda Triangle Bahama Diamond!
Heh heh! Meanwhile, I’ll be off to rework that story opening.
