The Perth Mint's Rectangular Dragon Coin Series has become one of the most popular in recent years. It is a legal tender silver coin in Australia, but these rectangular silver coins looks like a silver bar.
2025 Australia Silver Dragon Rectangular Coin BU
When it was first introduced in 2018, I was half-hearted in purchasing one. But because it depicted a dragon, which is a symbol I really relate to (since I was born in the Lunar Calendar of the Fire Dragon), I bought it anyway.
And I have been buying them ever since.
The reverse design looks more like a snake with a head of a dragon, in my opinion. It is one of my least favorite depictions of a dragon. The fields are frosty in finish.
Coin Highlights:
Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine silver.
Limited mintage of 250,000 coins.
Coin comes in protective packaging. Orders of 20 come in tubes, and orders of 200 coins come packaged in Mini Monster Boxes.
Coin features a unique rectangular shape.
Obverse: Depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of Charles III, the face value, weight and fineness.
Reverse: Features a stylized Chinese dragon and the 2025 year-date. Also included is the "P" mint mark.
Souce

It is nice to have a complete date set of such a unique coin.
