Hello again
This must be getting a bit old as it seems to be a repetitive thing lately, it's been a whopping month since my last contribution to the silver gold stackers community. Although I have some stuff to share, I could not get myself to sit down, find the pictures I took and write a post about it. The heat is getting harder to deal with being in my last trimester of pregnancy, although it seems we have a bit of relief in terms of humidity currently.
I'm writing this part at 3 PM and until this very moment every room still has open windows and we were even able to sit on the balcony enjoying a bit of a breeze every now and then today. I would like to request the weather Gods to provide us such weather at least until my delivery. Gosh, that would help me SO much, I swear that some days I feel like I lost 100 braincells and my memory fades by the day with the high humidity present.
I prefer having these days where I can open the windows, and see that my bedroom is just 25 degrees with a decent (read: not sweaty) humidity level. I've not overdone anything today though, every time that I try to push myself a bit doing chores, Braxton Hicks contractions appear. At least, I assume that's what they are even though they come several times an hour. I'm not ready to have this baby yet so it will have to wait a bit longer until my final baby supplies arrive.
Better than baby supplies
Today I want to share a gift from my dear Silver Gold Stackers sis @kerrislravenhill that's been gifted as a baby shower present. Receiving this was so much more exciting than any of these baby supplies because it came all the way from Canada and for me that was the first time that I dealt with a package from that part of the world, it always remains a bit scary if things will not get lost or customs will go smoothly. Thankfully, all went smoothly, I only had to make sure I had cash, so I ended up going to the post office because without knowing the exact fees, and the courier without change at hand, it was impossible to pay at the door.
That week I was in a lot of pain so it took a bit too long to my liking until my boyfriend could taxi me to the post office, but thankfully all went well once he did and I could finally open the precious gifts sent by Kerris.. It came with a beatifully handwritten note (which I know must have caused her lots of effort and maybe pain, I will cherish it even more!) and some sweets were added to the box as well. It was a joy to open this box, are you ready to check what was inside?
A beautiful handwritten note <3
Now I love personal notes, especially if they're handwritten. I used to have a beautiful handwriting myself until I didn't anymore. In the past years, I often wonder what I wrote down reading back my own notes, oops. I know handwritten must come with struggles for @kerrislravenhill so in this case, I will cherish it even more considering that she took the time and effort to write this down herself. I love it <3
You can see a sticker you've probably seen before may it be in her posts or may it be whenever she sent you something shiny, either way, it looked familiar right away even though this was my first package from Canada.
The big reveal
You probably already saw the cute little baby feet on the grey box so you can guess what's coming next.. I don't think there's any more special gift box and silver piece in my collection than this one, especially considering the fact that it's gifted to me all the way from Canada and for the occasion of the baby boy who will arrive in some weeks time.
Look at these cute little baby feet!
I think this says it all, it's such a precious gift I will cherish forever and when baby boy is big, I will hand it over to him with the story that it was a gift from my Hive sister @kerrislravenhill, all the way from Canada.
Thank you so much dear <3
Extra goodies
Although there was some additional silver inside this package, I will not spoil the fun of these just yet, but I can show you the sweets that were added, which we are eating only every once in a while, and the bag is still quite full!
I never ate Maple syrup bonbons before, they are delicious, I can tell you!
This package was a joy to open and to cherish even today, I still haven't put the box with the other silver because I open it quite a lot, wondering what baby will look like and feeling grateful for this package from my dear Hive friend..
What a lovely community we have here <3
