Evening folks, here's another one of my buys from the local antique shop.
Yes, it's another half crown 😅
The obverse of the coin: Uncrowned portrait of King George V
The reverse of the coin: Crowned quartered shield of arms with a garter band.
Year: 1923
Value: 1/2 crown
Currency: Pound sterling
Silver: .500
Weight: 14.14 grams
Diameter: 32.3mm
Thickness: 2.15mm

The condition isn't the best that I have seen, but it was labeled at £8.00. It was in a room that had 20% off of everything. £6.40 for this piece felt like a pretty good deal, really. At today's price, this piece is around £5.58 in silver. The premium I paid isn't bad, really when you take into account just how many of these I now own.
I need to do some inventory work, I think and count just how many of these I own 😅
More goodies will be gracing the pages of Hive at a later date
