Stand 16 in Developer Land is confirmed for HIVE 🙌. If you're planning on going to Talent Land Guadalajara next week, you should definitely stop by booth 16 to say hi! This guy is going to be there waiting for you. If you can't make it this year, no worries, I'll make sure to publish plenty of content to let you know what we're up to and to accept suggestions too.
I'm planning out some of the information I'd like to prepare to share with passers by and folks that show interest in HIVE. The first use case is...
Hive as a social media platform where you own your data
This is the first and easiest to understand. Humans want to interact with other humans. This means talking about shared interests, learning, being silly and discussing ideas about what's happening in the world. The problem with corporate-owned social media platforms is that they own your data, not you. They control what you can see, they control what you can say and they control what you can sigh. Scratch that last one. Got carried away. Hive let's you create content and upload it to a distributed blockchain where no government or corporation can censor you because it doesn't fit their narrative.

You can use a number of front ends with different look and features to access your data, and you can keep it super safe through HIVE's unique tiered private-public key pairs, a super innovative self-custody security system that is much more powerful than a single password.
When you truly own your data, there's another thing you can do: monetize your content. This brings me to another amazing feature of HIVE...
Hive as a value-for value ecosystem
This is something I've talked about in other posts: Hive: a value-for-value ecosystem because I believe it's incredibly powerful and an opportunity to build wealth through one of the most basic concepts in entrepreneurship: creating enough value for others that they are willing to pay you for it.
And the beauty of socializing in a web3 ecosystem is that you can exchange the value you provide for decentralized digital assets such as HIVE, HBD (Hive's stable coin), DASH and Bitcoin. You can accept any asset really, but these are some of my favorites.
When you start creating value for a particular niche of humans, you can get better at it, create systems, pricing, standardize your offering, focus on your best products or services and get rid of whatever is not performing as well. Before you know it, you'll be running your very own web3 business and THAT can be life-changing.
These are two of the ideas I'd like to focus on in this post. I'll cover more topics on upcoming posts as the date for Talent Land approaches. It would be awesome to have your support on my Talent Land posts via upvotes, as they will help me pay for my trip.
Thank you in advance!
