Hello and good morning friends of the community, I hope you are well. I send a special greeting to the initiators of this space within Hive which was dedicated specifically to the young and not so young Cuban geocentists.
I want to start by sharing that a few years ago I decided by my own will to become a researcher and although I did not know that the road would be difficult I never gave up and I always proposed almost unattainable goals. At that time, even though it was not the future that my father wanted for me, I decided to face the facts and study a medium technician in Geodesy and Cartography.
They were four hard and long years of study in which many times I felt alone and with many confusions because I did not know whether to continue or give up in front of the obstacles. I passed the technical and came the social service, and uff another stage even harder than the previous one and the research process even without thinking about it.

And after so much waiting, the University arrived and here begins the best part. The myths. In the second year we were already required to do a research topic and here the problems begin and I say problems because it may happen that you have a scientific profession and you are assigned a line related to it to develop it, but it can happen that the topic they propose you do not like it and you start to modify things until the time comes when you leave it. But it can also happen that you are lucky and everything works out perfectly. In any of these scenarios you can see yourself involved and the tip is to turn it around and go "with the flow because if you don't you will drown".
In this aspect I had a hard time because I was involved in one of the above scenarios but despite the fact that sometimes I felt like throwing it all away, I breathed Hondo contes up to 10 and continued and 2 years ago I graduated.
And continuing with the theme and the tooth before getting down to business, the goals begin. This year I start a new process something different, complex but resilient. The overcoming of postgraduate an advance to professionalism. Here I have two concrete goals to be an aspiring researcher which implies studying, studying and publishing results. And to reach my first year in the Master in Geography, Environment and Land Management.
Something that will open new doors and spaces for socialization and contacts. This is another niche in which we must go deeper. Anyway, we are almost done with the objectives and I think they have been quite clear: to advance, advance and advance. To my friends @ram7 and @arle99 I know that life at this time is complicated and that sometimes we do not feel like studying or preparing ourselves but my advice is not to give up and think about the future that many times is uncertain.
And as you can see the research process never ends, we are always investigating and as the title says, it has myths, goals and realities that will add other nuances to your personal life and make it even more special than it already is. Quiero comenzar compartiendo que hace algunos añitos ya decidi por voluntad propia volverme investigadora y aunque sin saber que el camino seria dificil nunca me rendi y siempre me proponia metas casi inalcanzables. Fue cuando en aquel entonces a pesar de que no era el futuro que mi padre deseaba para mi decidi afrontar los hechos y estudiar un tecnico medio en Geodesia y Cartografia. Fueron cuatro duros y largos años de estudio en los que muchas veces me sentia sola y con muchas confusiones puesto que no sabia si seguir o rendirme ante los obstaculos. Paso el tecnico y vino el sservicio social, y uff otra etapa aun mas dura que la anterior y el proceso de investigacion aun sin pensar en ello. Y luego de tanta espera llego la Universidad aqui comienza la mejor parte. Los mitos.
fuente/pixabay.comEn el segundo año ya nos exigian tema de investigacion y aqui comienzan los problemas y digo problemas porque suele darse el caso de que tengas una profesion cientifica y te asignen una linea vinculada a ella para que la desarrolles, pero puede suceder de que el tema que te propongan no te guste y comiences a modificar cosas hasta que llega el momento en que lo dejas. Pero puede suceder tambien de que seas un suertudo y que todo te salga perfecto. En cuaalquiera de loss escenarios puedes verte involucrados y el tips esta en cogerle la vuelta e ir a "favor de la corriente porque si no te ahogas". En este aspecto pase trabajo porque me vi involucrada en uno de los escenarios anteriores pero a pesar de que tenias ganas a veces de tiralo todo por la borda, respire Hondo conte hasta 10 y segui y hace 2 años me gradue. Y siguiendo con el tema y la muela antes de ir al grano comienzan las metas. Este año comienzo un nuevo proceso algo diferente, complejo pero resiliente. La superacion de postgrado un avance a la profesionalidad. Aqui tengo dos metas concretas ser aspirante a investigador lo que implica estudiar, estudiar y publicar resultados. Y alcanzar mi primer año en la maestria en Geografia Medioambiente y Ordenamiento Territorial. Algo que abrira nuevas puertas y espacios de sociabilizacion y contactos. Esto es otro nicho en lo que debemos profundizar. En fin ya aaqui casi que concluimos con los obejtivos y creo que han sido bastante claros avanzar, avanzar y avanzar. Para mis amigos @ram7 y @arle99 se que la vida en estos momentos es complicada y que a veces no tenemos ganas de estudiar ni de prepararnos pero mi consejo no se rindan y piensen en el futuro que muchas veces es incierto.Y como ven el proceso de investigacion nunca acaba siempre estamos investigando y como dice el titulo tiene mitos, metas y realidades que le agregaran a su vida personal otros matices y la aràn aun mas especial de lo que ya es.
