@galenkp notified me about a contest he hosts where one has to showcase the stunning scenery of our amazing mother nature. Honestly, there is not a much better topic for me to showcase than nature and landscapes that I love so much. You can find the contest announcement post and rules here. If you have great scenery shots too then be sure to submit your entry as well, I know many of you do!
I also find this contest great to take the opportunity and show to my newer followers where I have been over the years. I'm not going to showcase every country I have been to, that can not be made in one post lol but just overall some noteworthy locations.
My Homeland Estonia
Why not start with my home country Estonia! I have traveled almost everywhere here and it's hard for me to find new places, only in the southern part of the country maybe. Estonia features quite diverse nature even though the country is very small when compared to other countries. A LOT of forests, beautiful fields, bogs, and long coastlines with beaches and coastal cliffs in northern Estonia. In a climate where we experience hot summers, and colorful fall, and winter wonderlands.
Here are some photos that showcase my home country.
Florida
My only travel out of Europe this far, went here in 2020. Perfect for a winter vacation to see some sunshine and daylight that we don't get in the winter in Estonia much. This state is full of countless gorgeous beaches, too hard to make a choice about which beach to visit. The everglades national park was awesome. A huge area of swamps and wetlands, full of animals and yes alligators.

Central Europe
Czechia
I visited the Czech Republic last year in 2022 though I had only one day to go and explore the nature and landscapes, it was enough to get a general sense how what this place looks like. Here are some landscapes from the northern part of the country, oh man the heat was crazy at the time.
The Alps
I have been to the Alps two times now. It had always been on my bucket list to see this region of the world since I love mountains and of course, European Alps are one of the best locations to go to enjoy the best alpine landscape.
Germany
Back in 2018, we drove all the way from Estonia to southern Germany with a buddy, ultimately to see the Alps for the first time. We didn't spend a long time in the Alps really but visited the edge of it. It was amazing.
France
That was a very recent trip I just ended blogging about. A couple of months ago in March, we traveled to French Alps to have some mountain skiing done. This time however we were much higher in altitude than I was in Germany. At the most, we went up as high as 3000 meters and were also able to see Mount Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps. Here are some photos from France.
Madeira & Porto Santo
Also, quite a recent trip we did back in 2022. I'm not even finished blogging all about this trip, it was a very extensive one.
Madeira is located in the Atlantic Ocean and is closer to Africa than Europe. This subtropical Island is extremely mountainous and you can see crazy dramatic landscapes everywhere. You don't see flat landscapes anywhere. Then there is also the island of Porto Santo, very close to Madeira which is also mountainous but has more like a desert-like scenery and a gorgeous beach.
A couple of photos here are spoilers that I haven't gotten to blog about yet.
Iceland
Last but not least is the land of ice and fire, Iceland. Ahh, man, I don't even know what to say about this island here. Definitely, my favorite place to visit and the landscapes Im totally in love with. The fact that I have visited Iceland 3 times already speaks for itself. In 2018, 2021 and 2022. Iceland features dramatic lava landscapes, unique beaches, mountains, and glaciers, otherworldy waterfalls and just the vibe of being in this nature is something entirely else. Even though I have traveled around the country two times and the third time was a localized visit, I have seen almost everything there is to see in nature but I will definitely be back because there are endless amounts of hikes to be done and immerse yourself in this epic island.
I got thousands of photos of Iceland so it's extremely hard for me to just upload a few here but here I go.
That was just an extremely small portion of the stunningness in Iceland. There are so many places that are out of this world. Even though I have seen so many places there, I still feel like I have only scratched the surface. Looking forward to going back sometime in the future!
So that was my entry to the scenery contest from different places and countries of the world, hope you enjoyed what you saw!
