Binaliw Spring is our second destination on my first trekked .After we eat our lunch we continue to explore the place but as we walk through, another river captured our eyes.
Woaaaaahhh!š² My eyes twinkle immediately as I saw it
Look how clear and blue the water is.The blue water is urging me to swim but I am preserving my clothes for the last because I donāt want to explore the place with a wet clothes hahahahah so I just let my feet soaked by the blue water. Super in love with this blue riveršMy heart is screaming of happiness

After I soaked my feet, we immediately followed our companion.
We reached a place where it has a big ground, a chapel and it also has a house that look like an abandoned house but as you look at the house its not that scary. But before we reached the exact place the caretaker greet us with his hand pointing at us and telling us we are not allowed to go inside . WE ARE TRESPASS.
When I heard him I can feel my heartbeat slowly getting fast. I was thinking we are almost there and we already see a glimpse of the place but unfortunately we are trespass HHUHUHUHU.My excitement goes downš„ŗ.
But thankfully as maāam @callmesmile talk to him gently. Her kind heart let us go inside and we just told him that we will not stay in the place and were just going to take a picture of the place. While maāam smile and the caretaker are enjoying their small talk we are busy admiring the place.š¤©
Paradise!š³
I cant help but to admire and feel amazed by how clean the place is.I was totally drown by the ecstatic view of the surrounding.It was well taken care by the caretaker, such a hardworking personš„°.
Binaliw Spring
Binaliw spring is situated at Bagatayam Sogod Northern Cebu. The Spring is the main source of the Bagatayam falls where the water from the spring goes down freely to the Bagatayam falls along side of National Highway of Sugod.
The place attracts devoted tourists and localities as it is a holy place where the grotto of our Lady of Lourdes is situated. The place has its capabilities to heal any sickness just by fetching a water here to drink or make it as an ointment to cure wound. While other people usually take a bath and feeling the cold flowing water hug their body.Also according to the caretaker every Sunday has a mass in their small chapel.
After capturing the place ,of course I wonāt leave the place without giving my petition to the Lady of Lourdes. I also got the chanced to drink the water from the river since I feel thirsty.
It is the perfect place to have a rejuvenating swim since it is completely quite there but you have to respect the place since it is a holy place. You donāt have to worry for the entrance fee since the place is completely free!
We decided to walk through. As we explore the place without a destination,I feel enchanted by the beauty of nature š.While walking in this jungle, I was amazed by the voice echoed in the jungle itās like a voice of a monkeys or a bird but we didnāt see any monkeyās in the area. I guess itās the birds voice.
I feel at peace while exploring since it is so quite, thereās no other voice you can hear in the jungle aside from our steps and the echoed voice of the birds or monkeys.
However,when we realized that we are already far from the river we decided to come back to the river to have our warm bath HEHEHEHEH.
I was really enjoying my warm bath at the river. I didnāt mind if I will have my clothes wet as long as I wonāt miss the opportunity to swim in the river. Though I didnāt had the chance to bring a shampoo and a soap with me since I really dreamed to experience a real bath in a river.
After we take our warm bath we started to leave the place. But before we reached the highway we saw a tree of tamarind that has a bunch of tamarind. As we saw it our mouth watered, we pulled the roots down to reached the bunch of tamarind Hmmmmmm so yummy.š
I was riding a bus with a wet clothes on. It was my most wonderful experience and a well spent weekends for me. I will always cherished this moment. More trekked to come!
Realization
I came to conclusion that the journey itself leaves a greater memory than the destination itās because we faced enjoyment and hardship throughout the journey at the same time we learned and realize many things in our life. The process we encounter along the journey makes our destination worth it.
