I have just asked @jesta in his anchor greymass wallet developer testing telegram if he could just use his skills developing eos/telos/wax.protonetc @greymass wallet on mobile, to build us a Mobile Wallet version of Vessel (Which was already forked/updated by @netuoso a while back, to work with hive on desktop although not sure now if @vessel still is usable, i must ask around and check, as I never hear about it BUT it would be our BEST BET to having a SMOOTH SOLID alternative to @keychain
Instead of keychains dapp browser, we could have an experience liek greymass anchor that eos/telos/wax/proton users get to enjoy, one where we just use our existing browser on mobile liek chrome, and click signing buttons that pop up, and have us sign to @greymass Anchor wallet and its smooth and works almost everytime, with minimal times of needing to sign twice occurring but hey that happens on keychain plenty of times as as we see today theres been so many problem with keychain on desktop extension AND mobile, with the mobile app resetting and wiping keys, and unable to import new ones without crashing and wiping again, that I have had it and am going to try to see how much @hivedao has to pay our old friend @jesta to come back from antelopeio @eosio world and help us make a MOBILE version of @vessel wallet for hive
Thie new MOBILE vessel wallet for hive would use the methods @jesta has already learned for making his anchor wallet (inspired by vessel in some capacity) to work on mobile as a mobile app that comes up when needed. This new mobile vessel wallet wouldnt be anything like keychain with its dapp browser that forces you to STAY inside. It would have what keychain calls keychainity on its desktop version, but on mobile, where you can use your REGULAR mobile chrome or firefox/opera/safarai/edge almost any browser, and sign hive transactions.
Signing from a regular chrome browser with pop up dialogues, means we would yes have to use either the old keychain login buttons for now, and then update every front end to have a new VESSEL login option. This would be added to hive engine to @peakd to all of the dapps! )
@jesta 's @vessel Wallet github which now has been updated by @netuoso and gang t work on hive, but it was originally the old Desktop Steem wallet that many of you may even still have.
https://github.com/aaroncox/vessel
and this is what it will look like when installed on a desktop
see, theer it is in my computer still, updated with the hive logo and everything! Sadly it did not work. But we can make it work again, we can use @hivedao to fund this project and have @jesta help or advise us on making a mobile version of vessel that is as fast and easy as greymass anchor mobile that works like this:
Our potential Hive Vessel Mobile Wallet on iOS and android would look almost exactly the same here with maybe less information as we would be signing simpler transactions showing custon JSON code on the screen as we sign using a codeor biometric thumb or face scan. It works nearly perfectly on eos/telos/wax/proton on mobile AND desktop,
Having @vessel wallet back for DESKTOP is also important as we could switch from keychain, a chrome extension, to a SERIOUS desktop wallet with a built in wallet with the ability to add your custom tokens from hive-engine, and then the ability to vote for witnesses, proposals, and see your stake, your resource credits, everything vessel already does, and it ALREADY has the ability to do VESSEL LINKS and VEssel Signing, so, thats already figured out and just needs some updates on github to get it back up and working (Unless it already is but I couldnt find anywheer to re download it)

SO..... What we really need, is Hive @vesel wallet by @jesta and @netuoso to be brought BACK to life AND for a MOBILE VERSION to be released so we can browser hive dapps inside our regular chrome browser, using a great little mobile wallet that can just be based on teh lessons and mobile app development @jesta has learned from putting his @greymass anchor eos wallet into a mobile form!
edit: heres what vessel looks like
also @roelandp has @hivewallet mobile which seems to have keychain signing...

If @jesta can make mobile versions of anchor, he can do it for vessel OR lead us and a team of hivedevs to do it under his guidance, or we can just use the github for the mobile version of anchor and perhaps we may not ned his help! But i asked anyway :)
