I am seeking developer(s) to create a DApp (or whatever is required) to build a working Matrix-8 Platform which will then be offered initially to one community for testing for their own governance.
In early January of this year i discovered the remarkable Matrix-8 Platform. The Matrix-8 Platform is described by it's designer John Huckel @matrix-8 (with whom i am working) and by myself @atma.love in several posts in the New Age DApps Hive Community.
A very brief description of the Matrix-8 Platform.
The system, designed to be operated on a blockchain, has not yet been created. The "Master Matrix-8 Platform" will be owned by no-one. It will be "owned", but not able to be sold by the users, potentially by all of humanity.
Matrix-8 is a Bottom Up, Real Time Democrity, a Decentralised Multi-Level Governance System which can be used for ANY size of community (ultimately to include all of humanity).
Matrix-8 enables all community members to take an active part in the growth of the community, enabling their voices to be heard and their opinions to be taken notice of, thus affecting the decisions made.
There will be Cause Groups which any community members can join for many different topics/projects. The size of these "discussion" groups is not limited, and they are used to spark ideas for action. When there seems to be a general consensus to move an idea forward, community users will meet anonymously in groups of eight called 8-PAC's (8 People in Active Communication) to discuss an issue to come up with potential solutions, then to deliberate, and then to come to a consensus.
This is the "ground (first) floor" level. Everyone begins here, and always has a "seat" in a ground floor 8-PAC.
After a consensus is reached in these ground floor 8-PAC's, each 8-PAC elects a delegate to speak for them in another 8-PAC on the second floor level.
As an example, from a community of 64 users, 8 delegates would meet in one 8-PAC to further discuss, deliberate and come to a more concentrated accord based on the accords from the ground floor sixty four people in eight 8-PAC's for whom they are speaking.
During this 2nd floor 8-PAC meeting, everyone from the eight ground floor 8-PAC's, would be able to also attend the meeting partly as observers, by listening in to the live audio of the meeting. If in your ground floor 8-PAC you hear your delegate begin to speak "wrongly" (not what has been agreed by the eight in your group), you (or the elected secretary of your group) will be able to send a text message to your delegate during the live 2nd floor meeting to give him/her a chance respond via text message to the elected secretary of his "home" ground floor 8-PAC and/or to correct his words in the second floor meeting. If he/she fails to do so, your ground floor 8-PAC can re-elect a new delegate from the remaining seven to immediately replace the previously elected delegate.
Initial Application of Matrix-8
To begin with, it has become clear that a smaller community would need to use a "subway platform" the master system for it's own governance, to beta test, iron out any issues and prove it's worth. Other smaller communities will then start to use a Matrix-8 subway Platform. All the subway platforms will be separate stand alone systems, containing their own data, yet the users will be connected to the master platform.
As more and more smaller communities begin to use a Matrix-8 subway platform, there will become enough users connected to the master platform to need and also use Matrix-8 governance for the master Matrix-8 Platform.
First Community to Trial Matrix-8?
With over 400 members of the HiveDev community, perhaps this could be the ideal testing ground.
