Small step back but a bunch of updates!
Hello, D.Buzz development enthusiasts!
Today we have a lot of updates to talk about.
First, the MetaMask integration.
It is important to remember that sometimes, to achieve a goal, you may have to take a step back. This does not mean that you are not progressing, but are just reevaluating your current situation and making adjustments. This may mean changing your strategy or taking a different approach. The important thing is to stay focused on the overall goal.
Today, we will be removing the MetaMask integration for the time being. The current integration works, and works well. However, it is not ideal and has a few issues that cause problems for users.
Behind the scenes at the DBuzz offices, we are working to clean up our code. When this process is complete, we will reintegrate the MetaMask login. In fact, we will be designing the next version of DBuzz with the MetaMask login as a top priority!
Please accept our apologies if you currently log in with MetaMask - we will have it back in about two months.
Working Together
To be successful in any field, it is essential to be able to work well with others. This is especially true in business, where networking and building relationships are crucial. At our company, we believe it is not enough to play well with others – we must strive to be the best. This means being cooperative, communicative, competitive, and constantly striving to improve. By always putting our best foot forward, we can create a collaborative environment that is also highly productive.
With that idea in mind, we worked on fixing this week how DBuzz posts look on other frontends. Yes, this was a feature many of our users asked for, so we're happy to release it today!
The improvements will address how the post title is displayed on various other frontends. We are looking at other improvements along these lines as well.
Lastly, we also fixed issues with URL breaking and HTML tags not loading. Nice! We are excited to see the platform working better.
With regards to the central stable platform, D.Buzz.
This week, we rolled out all the features currently tested on Next.D.Buzz. When you login to D.Buzz, you will find plenty of improvements and updates, most of which we covered when they were rolled out to Next.D.Buzz for community testing.
A few highlights would be the integrated #NSFW filter system, enhanced video embed support, support for strikethrough markdown, and so much more. :D
