We are running out of bugs to squish o.O
Hello, D.Buzz development enthusiasts!
What does being a developer mean?
Development can refer to various activities such as creating, enhancing, and growing something. It is often used in the context of technology and software, which means creating or evolving something to a higher standard. It can also refer to people's progress, such as in the development of skills or knowledge. In business, it can refer to the growth of products and services, and the growth of an organization. Economic development can refer to the growth of a country's economy, the introduction of new technologies, and infrastructure improvements. Development is a broad term that can be applied to many different contexts and situations, depending on the organization's or individual's needs and goals, but the overall takeaway to being a developer is to work on enhancing and growing something.
We at DBuzz have been developing and growing DBuzz for a while now (since 2020-ish); with each week, we get closer to finishing the v3.x framework. You know what? It feels great to have a solid product.
In June this year, we shifted focus from extensive new features (such as the Pockets extension) and functionality, redirecting efforts to bug squashing. Since then, over the last five months, we have been very active in reducing and removing bugs from DBuzz v3.x. Looking at the bug list remaining, we should finish cleaning that up in a few more weeks; then it's on to the V4 framework (yes, about time). :D
Note about new versions
When we roll out a new version of DBuzz (as we do almost every week), you must log out then log back in again, or you may experience some issues with site operation. This is an issue with data storage.
What's Next
This week, we have one improvement to the testnet and removed more bugs from the ever-shrinking bug list. You can read about those points below.
Next week, if not sooner, we will have an automatic delegation script back up and running! We are finishing up our automatic delegation script to assist with onboarding new users and expanding DBuzz.
You have a referral link when you go to your profile screen on DBuzz. The link looks like this: https://d.buzz/#/?ref=dbuzz. In this example, you will see the ?ref=dbuzz
, wherein you can swap the dbuzz
out, replace it with your username, and share that link.
When the script is up, anyone who signs up with that link will get an automatic delegation of 15 Hive Power from the DBuzz account to help make sure they can post and buzz all day long. :)
We will finish this script this week and make an announcement about it next week in more depth.
