Hive have a lack of Front End Developers
This ☝️ is not a phrase to get your attention, it is my opinion.

Nowadays "it works" is not enough, you might not agree but first impression is the last impression.
I would say, it have to work and it have to look good!
Hive is a lot of things, crypto, communities, Dapps, etc, but if every time someone interacts with Hive they don't have a nice impression from the user's point of view, they will be a potential user who won't come back, I mean users not desperate (with all respect) by money, those in need will tell you Windows Me is the best OS if you pay for that.
From this point of view there are a lot of things to do in Hive, in Hive Dapps.
I believe everyone involved in Hive Dapps give their best, but again, nowadays the best you can it might not be enough, we need professional Front End Developers!
Why Hive need Front End Developers
That's the easy part! We need Front End Developers because they are important and I don't see them in Hive. And by Front End Developers I mean professional Front End Developers, it's not enough pick up a WordPress template and create a site.
Why Front End Developers are important
Like I said, first impression is the last impression.
- Navigation, keep your users satisfied, an happy visitor is a potential visitor that will come back.
- Performance and User Friendly, it's not enough say Fast, Scalable and Powerful, Hive frontends must also be that.
- This 2 reasons above benefits user retention.
- Trust, an attractive frontend contributes to trust, of the Dapp and the Blockchain, remember any mess Dapp in Hive might contribute to an erroneous view of the entire ecosystem.
Saying that I think it's time to someone from valueplan, top witnesses (don't know exactly who), create a fund or something similar to attract some good Front End Developers to help and guide the ecosystem, it's not about one or two Dapps, it's about Hive and all ecosystem. Someone who would be connected with the entire hive ecosystem through the ones who make the link between all the dapps. There are already people working full-time in other areas on Hive and being paid by DHF funds for it, why not Front End Developers?
By the way, sometimes it seems to me that there are also a lack of connection between Dapps, it seems that it is each one by themselves, Hive could benefit with more communication between Dapps.
Are Hive frontends horrible? No, not at all! But they could, and can, be much better! For the good of Hive.
I'm not a Front End Developer, don't have any intention to be and I don't know any Front End Developer.
