Excited to opensource our RPC Proxy code. Check it out and try if you are running Hive full RPC node or any blockchain RPC for that matter. We would love to hear your experience with it and work together to make it better.
We tried to make it as generalized as possible so that in future we can utilize when cross blockchain operations are added. Also codebase for it, is super clean and easily extensible. Whether you are running HIVE, BTC, ETH or any other blockchain nodes, most of which has in-built json-rpc support, we believe this will be great contribution to entire ecosystem, allowing easy creation of caching layer.
If you are Python developer or know how blockchains work in general, try it out and let us know how it works for you.
Currently most Hive full nodes use Jussi and it is great tool. In our eyes, it looked bit over-engineered and not really extensible because it is designed only for Hive, hard to make any changes/improvements. Goal with this new script is to allow more developers to add new changes easily as well as offer alternative RPC proxy and help ourselves in long term.
